Paynesville Holiday Park

We stayed a couple of nights, a well presented and maintained park. If you like roses, you should check this place out. The gardens are immaculate, many beds with loved rose bushes.
Facilities are all good and very clean. Great place for a peaceful stay. The pool and spa looked great, sadly my body is not a pool and spa type of body so didn’t indulge. Playground for kids, I’ve no kids but it seemed like a place I would play if I’d drunk lots of absinthe, seemed safe and foolproof. We were in a self contained van in a powered site, so can’t rate the rooms.

Walking distance to town awesome caravan sites right out the front of the pool and good layout and plenty of things for the kids to have fun. Everything was in good order it was an older park but couldn’t fault anything with the owners constantly upgrading things and making sure you’re super happy. Lollies and maps etc at reception. (mosquitoe repellent is required don’t forget it). The pool was huge and splash area and large spa the highlight of the park. Ask to book at the pool if you have a van if you want to keep an eye on the kids in the pool and playground.

Loved our time here with our motorhome last weekend. The hosts were inviting, friendly and great with the local knowledge.
The park is kept in immaculate order and is very well facilitated.
As for Paynesville itself, you can't go wrong with such a beautiful place.

Great location to then go to Raymond Island and see the Koalas.
We got a good place, the place is peaceful and well equipped.
There is a swimming pool, games for children.
The showers and toilets are very clean.
The welcome and service are really good.
We are glad we chose this place.

Beautiful holiday park in Paynesville. Approximately 10 minutes walk from the ferry terminal to Raymond Island. There you can spot koalas on a short but beautiful trail. The park is incredibly well maintained and clean. Very nice planting and arrangement of the plant. Spacious communal kitchen with many cooking utensils (oven, microwave, stove + crockery, cutlery, pots). Gaming area with lounge area is directly opposite.
Sanitary facilities are extremely clean and hygienic, and showering here is also very comfortable for a camping park.
The operators are super friendly and helpful.

In the low season (August 2023) we called/mailed a day before and got an immediate response a few hours later. For about $35 we could easily arrive the next day and had a nice pitch.
On a trip by car, for example from Melbourne to Sydney, it's a nice place to spend the night.

Clean and tidy cabin, park has recreation room, camp kitchen BBQ facilities, swim pool and spacious.

We stayed two nights in a cabin at Paynesville Holiday Park. The lady in the office was very welcoming and happy to have a chat.

The park is beautifully laid out and is exceptionally clean and tidy, Our cabin was lovely, well fitted out and was very comfortable.

Paynesville is a beautiful part of the world and we would be delighted to stay at this park again if we were planning a stay around the Paynesville area.

Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our stay at Paynesville Holiday Park. We booked into an ensuite caravan spot for our pop top van. The owners were super accommodating with our site allocation (helping our family stay in an area with other young families), helped us with an earlier check in and were so friendly upon arrival. The park itself was one of the best kept & cleanest caravan parks I have been to. 5 min walk into town/coffee/water. Cannot beat it - we will be back for sure.

Spent a week here with my 3 kids and hubby.
We had a fantastic time. The park is well maintained, the staff are awesome and the atmosphere is fantastic and friendly.
The kids were in the pool every day loving life, and I loved the heated spa lol.
Will definitely be back!

There is so much to love about this park.the staff are lovely, the amenities are the cleanest out of all the parks we have been to, the camp sites are a great size and grassy, its safe for the kids to run and ride bikes around and its an easy walk into town. We love it so much we keep coming back.

Nice clean pet friendly caravan park with all the facilities you need for a perfect holiday, not far from the shopping centre. Owner and his wife are very helpful. We will be back

They are so polite and so understanding we were having trouble with things and they loved to help out they are so clean in their rooms and would definitely recommend to stay thank you

The park is in a great place and is very comfortable. Hopefully one does not have an issue because the staff are very slow to handle to situation. Ours wasn't handled for close to four weeks! We won't be going back there.

Really nice holiday park and the counter staff were friendly and for a short walk or drive you can go to sunset Cove for an amazing view. Quiet and peaceful with a nice pool, spa and games room too. Trailer was spacious and clean and great stove for cooking up your own food

Currently staying here in one of the villa cabins, and i must say, this place is a little gem. The grounds are beautifully maintained, roses everywhere, long lush green grass and landscaped gardens, driveways are spotless and neat.

I went with the cheapest cabin, and it's very clean, neat and straight. You can tell upon first entering they clean these cabins properley, they don't smell (only of cleaning product) and there isn't grime or dirt anywhere in sight. Whilst the cheapest cabins are older, they are very clean and well kept. That's all i need!

Nice pool and spa area as well, and a nice quiet park. Very close to the Esplanade as well which has a pub, tackle shop, numerous cafe's and restaurants, IGA and Foodworks etc. I can tell i'm going to sleep well tonight, it's very peaceful here indeed. This park ticks all the boxes for me personally, so it gets a 5 stars for my rating.
