Pawssum mobile vets

Although making the decision to send your best friend onwards is such an incredibly hard and difficult decision to make, these guys made myself and my family feel so supported and loved, being able to send our girl off in the comfort of her own home with a very gentle and caring vet will forever be cherished by my family. Thank you guys so much!

Dr Stuart is a wonderful caring vet and we were blessed to be sent him when helping to ease the pain of our old dog Oscar. Calling Pawssum was the best thing that I have ever done in regards to my beautiful boy. They take all the car stress out of our life as Colby was very nervous getting into the car for a vet visit. Our 13 year old Moxy was in a lot of pain and sadly we realised she was reaching her limit, so my family and I made the extremely hard decision to put her to sleep. Dr Beshoy was very patient, sympathetic and kind. He helped us with our decision and the process was very gentle.

Terrible.
First time booking an At home vet appointment for a cat.
Booked an appointment a week ago, a day out from the appointment still haven’t received a confirmation.

Contacted customer service was advised request was received 6 days ago but a vet hadn’t accepted my booking yet and couldn’t be confirmed. Surely this isn’t normal.
Would not recommend.

Very responsive, very compassionate, and even followed up with a message a week later. Fantastic service.

Peaceful euthanasia - Thank you so much Pawssum and Dr Beshoy for coming to us at 9.00pm on a public holiday to put our poor dog out of his misery. Compassionate and efficient vets. Without hesitation I recommend this service.

Our ridiculous greyhound Jimi got the zoomies so hard that he snapped one of his nails most of the way off.

Dr Jess and Angelo went out of their way to come to our home at 8: 15pm on Good Friday with no complaints. They were both so friendly, kind, and professional. Dr Jess was really clear and thorough in explaining the approach she determined was best and went out of her way to ensure that we were both well informed and comfortable with her judgement.
The nail was too well attached to remove during the home visit (and again Dr Jess went above and beyond in making sure she explained her reasoning for this and making sure we were okay with the approach) so they got Jimi really comfortable, made sure that he is bandaged and protected, and provided him with antibiotics, pain relief, and a plan of action for us to take with us to the clinic when we can get him in on Tuesday (with the expectation that he will need the rest of the nail removed under sedation).

They loved Jimi and he loved them. I was honestly blown away by the bedside manner and professionalism, especially given that they were making an after hours house call on a public holiday!
We made this booking out of desperation but it was a fabulous experience with wonderful professionals and I'll absolutely be using Pawssum again in future. Most important of all, Jimi is happy and comfortable (though he hates having the bandage on his foot)!

Thanks again to Dr Jess and Angelo - I hope you both got to enjoy the rest of your long weekend once you were done dealing with our nonsense!

Extremely sad day, Dr David gently enabled our gentle giant Crunchy the staffy to be able to finally rest, he was at all times completely comfortable in his bed, at home, surrounded by family. Thank you for enabling our beloved pet/family member to die with with peace and dignity ️️

I was a bit skeptics at first as they like payment up front. But the vet that came out was really good and helpful.

Vet doc came out to attend to a unwell Roxy (our pet dog). His patience and understanding was excellent.

Amazing service, I called with my cat having an infection from another cat attacking him, I called at 8pm and by 2pm the next day I had the nicest vet I’ve ever met, I’m not sure what his name is but he was an Arab man and he was so nice and caring and very polite! He gave us precise directions on how to give the antibiotics.honestly can’t recommend these guys enough and the call out fee of 159 is worth every dollar especially for cat owners who can’t get them in the car!

I’ve previously reviewed and per my previous review I stand by my comments on too much contact during the booking process. Literally while you are trying to complete the very easy forms you’ll get a text message asking if you need help and to answer YES if you do. When you don’t answer you then get a follow up phone call offering the same help… then when you don’t answer that call cause you’re filling out the booking forms they’ll send another text offering the same help again. All this is in the first 5 minutes of starting the booking process. I don’t know about others but it takes me more than 5 minutes to complete a form for two cats on a mobile phone that keeps going off with distractions?

Despite this once you’ve run the booking form gauntlet everything is seamless. I was kind of surprised to not get a booking request confirmation to my email straight away but otherwise everything went per usual online booking.

Dr Kel was fantastic and I can’t fault the mobile veterinary service Pawssum offers. I just wish it wasn’t so pushy. I recommend waiting 30 mins before the barrage of contact)

Dr Bahaa attended our house very promptly at a very distressing time when our beautiful 16 year old Labrador had suffered a stroke. He showed considerable empathy and was very respectful to our beautiful old girl. We appreciated his support at a very upsetting time. I had actually rung a few vets prior to using this company who sadly did not understand the urgency and how upsetting this was for our family and at least Dr Bahaa was able to take away her suffering.
