This was the only shop in Melbourne that had exactly what we needed, great service as well. There was a man named Cal I think that was so helpful and kind, thanks heaps!

I had a very bad experience in this store. I bought a violin from this store 16 months before, and I came back for repair as there was a buzz when I was playing on G and D strings. The two staff mentioned they could not hear it although I played it again and again. Then they suggested I should change all the strings. I told them the first time that there was nothing wrong with the strings as I practiced it every day so I know it was something wrong with the instrument, not the strings.they were all very arrogant and no one listens to me. I felt like I have been pushed to purchase the four strings from them to justify myself so my violine can be repaired. After they installed the strings for me, one staff finally can hear the buzz and then mentioned there might be something wrong with the bridge or the bow. They will contact the technician and it will take two weeks. After I left, I found out they overcharged me for the strings and I talked with the owner Luke. Luke agreed to return the gap fees also illustrating this bad experience is not his concern. Later on, I suggested them I will take it back and find another store to repair it. When I came back to pick up the violin, I found out they put my violin on the floor in a standing way which was very dangerous as it might damage the violin when it falls. They also put my shoulder rest in the pocket for the music sheet and it might potentially damage the shoulder rest as there is not enough space for it. I do not recommend this store for everyone as they do not respect me as a human being and they do not treat my beloved violin well as well.

Bought my Fender guitar from Pat’s. Great place with lots of instruments and brands available. The guitar I bought was heavily discounted too. Lorenz and the rest of the staff are very friendly too. I highly recommend this shop.

Dropped my guitar in to have a preamp replaced, was quoted $200 and told it'd take 1-2 weeks. They forgot about my guitar, so it took 10 weeks, I was charged $335 and the guitar was covered in dirt and dust when I received it back. No discount was offered despite the ridiculous length of time it took. Really disappointed, won't be using Pat's Music again.

Well impressively magnificent are the musical options available at Pat's Music, including a wonderful array of guitars, pianos and drums all available for testing or just having a jam. Musical books and sheet music are also for sale, with very supportive and knowledgeable staff on hand for immediate aid. There were certainly many well priced options with the odd sale item available if you happen to be lucky enough to find that on the day.

Best music store ever! They offer lots of discounts. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Huge range of instruments and accessories, I usually search online to see the highest reviewed products to buy and their website appears to offer most of them. They’re very generous about pricing as well. I live in cbd so pretty far away from their store but always want to go here for the best price and service. Love this store!

Great store, service is great too! Loved the selection of instruments, went to buy strings for my guitar and ended up buying a lovely little ukulele for my wife as well. Thanks Luke for treating us well and making us feel at home, il be comming back to buy an electric guitar pretty soon (u have an awesome selection!) u can bet on that!

Previous visit they were pleasant enough but the last time I was in the young guy was so rude I immediately walkout. They lost a $600 sale AND a repeat customer. Won't be going back.
