Particle Cafe reviews
65 Great food, worth the visit. They've got food and drinks for everyone's tastes.
My burger was delicious, and a very generous size.
Easily the best burger I have had, ever. Delicious food and friendly staff, I am delighted I live so close by!
Even better under new owners, super friendly service and now open more reliably. Beautiful fresh food
Great location with ample parking.
Food was good but they need to work on a covid plan. We was not asked to sign in for contact tracing nor was a sign in register seen.
There also wasn't any covid material or hand sanitizer to be seen.
If i was on death row, i’d ask for a blat with cheese sauce from particle.this place is amazing.i love the new owners, everything comes out quickly and beautifully.
I love this place! Owner and staff friendly and great customer service. Their coffee is always good and all the meals I had so yummy and tasty, and it’s great for Instagram pictures.
This place is worth visiting with every element on the plate is so delicious and compliments every ingredients. I love their banana bread and their homemade peanut butter nom nom nom
It's lovely but the chips don't taste the same. They used to be really crispy. Otherwise nice but a bit of a quality drop. I still recommend it and will still be coming.
This place has amazing roast coffee, I can't wait to come back and try the food next time!
The beams were perfectly roasted and tastes like chocolate mmmm so good
Probably our favourite place for food in Melbourne. As a celiac, going here is like dying and going to heaven as everything is automatically gluten free. Incredibly tasty food. It's a little far out but we'll worth the trip.
Well this is a nice little find. Visiting from interstate and had the Rainbow Juice.very delicious. Thank You
Love it! We stumble upon this absolute gorgeous little gem off of Avondale Heights. The food arrived very quick and was outstanding! The customer service was knowledgable and friendly which is definitely a plus! We also got a chance to meet the new owners and they were very helpful and patient when discussing about my dietary requirements. Hats off to the team here
Service was friendly, food arrived long before the coffee.
Had scrambled tofu, was pretty bland and tasted like tofu and nutritional yeast. This kinda dish needs something to distract from the tofu flavour. Maybe some chilli or herbs?
I’d suggest the owner try “one for the crow” cafe scrambled tofu. Has to be the best I’ve ever had, as it’s my go to dish!
Just a suggestion:)
OMG - what a gem! Great service, great menu - loved it. Drinks and meals impressed all 5 of us. The presentation was amazing and the dishes looked too good to eat. So sorry had no room for dessert. Definitely worth a detour if you’re in Melbourne.
Fantastic, imaginative, innovative, beautifully prepared vegan food. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. The Jack Black burger was great. Will deginitely come back again.
I have eaten at this cafe a few times, giving the food a few chances, but unfortunately the food didn't sit right in my stomach and I always broke out in bad acne/rashes afterwards. I am not sure whether it is due using more of the non refined sugar (the smoothie bowl made me shake afterwards due to the high non refined sugar content?) or oils to make the food palatable or the man made chemicals such as genetically modified soy lecithin (man made), preservatives, additives, used to substitute for the meat and cheese? I didn't notice 100% pure organic stevia as a non refined sugar substitute but maple syrup which is rather high in sucrose, as a sweetener for the coffee? Maple syrup and even agave nectar (which is high in fructose, leads to fat deposition in the liver) are just other names for sugar whether it be refined or non refined. The milk didn't seem right to me at all as I make my own plant based milk from scratch and I noticed a huge difference in the taste and quality probably due to the additives used to thicken the milk, such as the artificial soy lecithin? I also hope that any food not used or wastage here is donated to Food Bank, OzHarvest and Second Bites.
The new owners and the staff there are so kind and accommodating. They are really sweet and out a lot of effort in what they do. The food was really nice and well presented, I had the avo smash with potato and it was the perfect balance of flavours.
Very happy. Thank you!
Absolutely delicious food, amazing service, and such a cute atmosphere for friends and family to meet at.
Food is amazing! It looks beautiful, is really interesting and tastes great.
The staff are so helpful and attentive.
Highly recommended!
Very decently priced for a vegan cafe. Such friendly staff it's wonderful!
Cute little set up inside. The food was delicious and clean. A great place for a morning catch up or ethically sourced coffee /breaky.
I had peanutbutter waffles with chocolate sauce and ice-cream with berries. It was delightful!
I sensed a change in this place, and not for the better. The menu is the same but the taste and execution wasn't there. Had my usual fave, the jack black burger. First time EVER I've not enjoyed my food here; It was way too smokey, too much sauce made for a really sloppy burger. Found out Zack has sold the business. Such a shame for us. Even the interior has been changed and it's a little tacky. We probably won't be back.
