Parker's Fish&Chips

This take away fish and chip joint in the heart of Warrnambool is VERY disappointing. After waiting over 30mins for a corn jack and 2 scallops we rushed to the beach to eat them while they were hot. The bag they came in was dripping with oil and the scallops were so overdone they were like hockey pucks! The corn jack was cooked well. One of the scallops was dotted with white dots, I didn’t eat it in case it was mould! Very, very disappointing! My mate ordered 8 potato cakes and they were paper thin, and the diameter of a tennis ball. Again, very disappointing!

Pretty standard fish n chip shop, fish was nice, chips were nice, potato cakes and onion rings lacked substance but still enjoyable.

Best fish n chips u can find in warnambool that are affordable! The shop attendants are very friendly as well. Chips taste excellent

The food order was wrong the person who took order couldn't speak English

Sorry, but the chips were saturated in oil. We couldn't really eat them. A bit crispy on the outside but oil inside. The potato sremed to have disappeared.

We stayed overnight in Warrnambool recently and after a little online review stalking, we decided we would go to the highly recommended Parker's for our fish and chip dinner by the beach.

We weren't fans of the beach (way too windy at that time) but we were super fans of the fish and chips! The portions were super generous, all of the food was piping hot, not oily at all, the fresh flake was delicious and we were both fans of the chicken salt

The turn around time from ordering on the phone to picking out food was super fast and the staff were so incredibly friendly!

Highly recommend if you're in the area and are wanting some fish and chips! We'll definitely be back!

Yummy fish and (no chips). Unfortunately no chips or dim sims at the time but rest of the food was delicious. Rude young guy serving but he was probably annoyed at having to tell everyone about no chips! We went back a second night it was so good.

I always go to Parker’s when I go to warrnambool but went there Wednesday 30/11 I don’t know if it has changed hands but the fish& chips we’re to greasey & to much batter on the scallops won’t be going back

Not really an eat in but you can if you like. The food was excellent and the quantities were very good

Parkers fish and chips did not dissapoint! The chips were cooked and salted to perfection! Flake was tender and crunchy, best i have ever had! I will be returning as soon as I can!
Advice for future customers, the civic green is a great place to eat your meal from parkers.

Decent fish and chips. Not amazing, but not bad. They forgot my fish so I lucky I checked before I left. The chips are ok, potato cake and scallop were likewise, but the fish wasn't amazing. A solid three star experience.

Very friendly staff. The shop is neat and clean. They also have some colouring for kids to do while they wait. Portion size was good too

Great fish and chips. The flake was so fresh and tasty and the chips were some of the best I had in a fish and chips shop. All made fresh and quickly. Good prices!

Good value. Ordered 1 scallop, 1 calamari, 1 butterfish, 1 barramundi, 1 small chips and a tartar sauce for two people. Fries were a bit inconsistent - some were good but some were not crispy. Also, small fries is a huge amount for 2 people unless you're eating only fries - I would say it's about 4 times the portion of McDonald's medium fries. I recommend the butterfish but not the calamari (calamari is too mushy and overfried). The batter on the fish gets soggy fast so eat it hot. Do note the surcharge for credit card payments. Attendant was friendly enough to point me to the nearest public restroom.

Extremely generous serving of chips, perfectly salted! Great vegetarian burger, which is really saying something at a fish and chip shop in my opinion. My son loved his potato cakes and my wife thought the fish was perfect.

Had to wait about 30 minutes for our food because they were extremely popular, but I can see why! Also being on a Friday probably didn't help.

By far, some of the best fish and chips I've had for a long long time. Definitely not to be missed and a highlight of Warrnambool!

We ordered chips and battered barramundi. It was tasty and fresh. The batter on the fish had a good crunch but was heavy and thick. Over all very oily.
The tartar sauce was really good.

Customer service is brilliant. Fish and chips are amazing. The quantity is very generous. Keep up the good work:)

Wouldn’t recommend, ask for grilled fish and got battered and fried, all the chips are overdone and barely any salt.
