Parkdale Free Range Charcoal Chicken

Best scalloped potato is ever had. Rich combination of cheeses therein. Chicken was well seasoned, juicy and stuffed.

Best chicken, souvlaki, dim sim and chips around. Good price for portion sizes. My kids go here with friends regularly after school on a Friday for chips and gravy, they love it too!

The HSP was fantastic, the chips were still crunchy and didn't go soggy.
The charcoal chicken and scalloped potatoes was also great. The guy who served us was friendly and accommodating and overall we had a great experience. Too bad it's too far from home to be out local!

We had stopped here for some lunch. I got a 1/4 chicken and some potato bake. The food was really good. Well priced as well with lots of options. The staff were really friendly and willing to accommodate our group. Lots of different salads available too. Easy location right near the railway line. Highly recommend.

Nice chicken. Chips arre salty (but I like salt on my chips but may be a bit much for others.)

Best charcoal chicken around. Even under the pump on a Saturday night, still have great service, a smile on their face and a great feed.

Parky Charky is the holy offspring of food and service. The seasoning is always perfect and the HSP’s are to die for. The only bad thing is that parky Charky has ruined HSP’s for me because there just so damn good and no other charcoal chicken can ever replicate the taste I get from Parky Charky.

I was always happy with their food especially lamb and chips. Since moved from Mordialloc to Cheltenham I still get from them. My daughter even had few packs of lamb&chips for her 10th bday party last year.
BUT.tonight I got a lamb&chips for dinner as usual and it was very disappointing! Lamb was burnt and hard! I don’t know if I wanted to get from them next time.

Don't order online, they give you the old chicken.if you want this chicken go in and select it yourself or go somewhere that honours online orders. Went to this place last week and selected my own whole chicken and it was good. Just ordered on uber eats and the chicken was left at the door without notice (was curious as to why it was taking so long, so I went to leave the front door open [and] there it was. Took it inside opened the bag only to find a blackened dry chicken.needless to say I put it in the bin.my dog found it and thought it was ok.these people that treat online customers with such disregard need to wakeup. Never buying anything from these guys again!

The best free range charcoal chicken this side of the southern hemisphere. Thanx to the fantastic staff for accommodating our every request and the chips were outstanding

The charcoal chicken here was excellent! I had ordered chips and chicken and it was soooooo delicious!
In my opinion, the best part of the meal was the chicken as it had been very appetising and there was barbecue sauce

I’ve had a fair bit of charcoal chicken in my time - but this isn’t chicken. This is like if the gods had taken the purest bird, blessed it with sacred spices, anointed it in a magical basting, and then sacrificed it on a divine spit, to grill over holy fire and coals. And they get it perfect every time! It’s a religious experience. It’d make the pope want to sin. This is the best charcoal chicken in Melbourne, probably in Victoria. Even the stuffing is amazing, you’ll want to eat it by handfuls. Do yourself a favour - make a pilgrimage to this holy site and grace your senses with this amazing feed at least once in your life. You’ll never want to buy chicken from anywhere else again.

Bbq chicken and chips here are the best. The Greek, Egg, Pasta salad are delicious. The service is warm, friendly and professional. Our always the go too food take away place. Highly Recommend.

Not happy with how I was spoken to. Simple things like your tone of voice need to be changed. Food is great.

The chips are good and I love the salt they use as well. But the price is far too much - hard to justify going here when it costs $20+ for a wrap and small chips:/

Would recommend other charcoal chicken shops, this one is a bit pricey for what you get.

Easily the best souvlaki I've had in a long time. Young fellah behind the counter were top class.

Best chicken shop in Parkdale also the best souvlaki joint in Parkdale, if you’re ever in the area make sure to grab the 1/4 Chicken and Chips, the stuffing in the chicken is what makes the chicken unique.the lamb souvlaki is a key winner too the combination of garlic sauce and lamb always goes great together

Yum, yum, yum. Often get takeaway from here and haven't been dissapointed. Very generous servings, the young staff do a wonderful job. Well done and keep it going!
