Park Lane Holiday Park reviews
56Took the grandchildren to Parkies. Wasn't too crowded. Children enjoyed the play equipment.
Very comfortable cabins well maintained clean undercover parking at our unit. Quiet park pool play equipment family friendly
Definitely recommend, brightly coloured and well maintained caravan park with plenty of accommodation options, fantastic facilities with massive indoor play center, playground, heated spa, well equipped camp kitchen, bbq area and games room. Clean and modern facilities and only just a short drive from center of town.
We stayed in an unpowered en-suite site for 1 night in our roof top tent. This was just a stop over for us on our way back to NSW. En-suite is very modern and looks like it has just been updated. Nice hot shower and clean bathroom. Fresh towels supplied which was a nice surprise. The park is right next to the highway which makes it a little loud at time. Overall a fine stop over for one night.
Great place for a short visit.no internet though which was really annoying.only if u sat outside could u connect
This park is amazing for kids
As older couple we saw and heard no kids they have amazing fun park
Road noise yes but they seem to be addressing it with fencing and bushes and people need to understand this takes time
It did affect us as we were close but park was obviously addressing it
Our shower ensuite is amazing
Construction happening for more
I find price okay excellent value if you have kids
We have camper not cabin
Close to a great social club venue for meals and entertainment
Look, overall the staff and the facilities here are great. There are plenty of things to do with the kids and only 7 minutes out of town.
The downside of this place is that the indoor playground is open to the public. If you stay there over a weekend.good luck trying to even get in there with your kids. They hold up to 8 parties every day on the weekend, making it absolutely useless for kids who stay there to use, as it's too full with other kids, and there is absolutely nowhere for parents who are paying to stay at the park, to sit and watch their kids.
We went for a weekend stay with my whole family, and on Saturday, our kids couldn't use the place at all as it was full of party kids, and there was nowhere for us to sit!
The increased traffic flow of people coming to the park to go to the parties is a bit concerning, and it made us not want to have our kids ride around the park.
Also, the games room in the camp kitchen area was a little run down and was a bit miserable looking. The games tables were broken like the pool table had broken pockets, the air hockey table was lop sided and the scoring system didn't work.
Our cabin had a few cleaning and maintenance issues. We had no gas in our cabin on arrival and the cleanliness of the shower was a bit bad. There was old soap sittin on top of the shower and grime all around the shower door and handle. And most of the dishes were dirty in the cupboards so obviously not checked by the cleaning staff.
The staff were absolutely amazing though, some of the most friendliest staff we've ever met! So that was a bonus.
But given the playcentre is open to the public and you can't sit and relax with your kids, would put me off going to this park again.
Went there for a joint birthday party. Great venue. The cabins looked clean and still plenty of space fir caravans and tents. Really enjoyed it
Absolutely appalling. DO NOT STAY.
If you are after unpowered camping I highly recommend not stopping in here.
The owner of the park disrespectfully said and I quote “why do you want an unpowered site” as she rolled her eyes at my friends partner.
You will be situated in a muddy site parallel to the highway. ‘Allocated’ camping is a big stretch as they have white spray painted faded numbers on a white fence. Go figure.
Lastly. They have a very small “dog run” suitable for a small to miniature dog.
Do your research. Do not stay here.
This park is definitely on our revisit list, cabin was spotlessly clean, even had a carport for our car. A fantastic indoor play centre for the Children and great adult games room. Located just outside of Bendigo, so not noisy. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend.
This little park was a very pleasant surprise. Clean and comfortable cabins (love the colours!) Proper pillows on the beds, and a huge play space for kids. Shame we only had one night here, we will definitely be back for a longer stay!
All the staff were so helpful. We had a large group and they looked after us so well. The amenities and facilities were fantastic. The accommodation is very well maintained. Couldn't fault the park.
Amazing caravan park for families, great facilities, playgrounds inside and outside, pool, jumping pillow, amazing camp kitchen and BBQs. Recommended for everyone
Well maintained, clean and friendly family focussed caravan park. Staff are really helpful. Location is out of the way which means it's quiet but easy 10 minute drive to the centre of Bendigo and even closer for shops and fast food.
Great experience. Lots of fun things for my 5 year old to do. We loved the pool and spa. Our cabin was perfect, even better than expected.
Ensuite suite- fantastic! Site was very new, great design, spacious and clean. Facilities at the park were great- unlimited play at indoor playcentre, pool was great- basic square shape but deep, plenty of room for guests.
Stay would be improved if able to hire our games room items (pool cues, table tennis bats) after 6pm. Otherwise great stay and would recommend if visiting Bendigo with kids
Disappointed that it has big4 in its name no air con in bed room not even a fan in other bedroom and lounge needed to be replaced about 10 years ago the pool way to small with amount of people there. And no Recycling bin. Over priced
We stayed in cabin 32, right opposite the dump point. The cabin was quite small for 5 people and so very old.
The couches were putred absolutely disgusting so we put a sheet on them so we could sit down also the curtains were all stained and dirty.
The pool area is very tired and is in need of a major renovation also very very slippery.
The playcenter was great and the staff were lovely.
Also quite disappointing that you don't have any recycling bins very strange.
Disappointing, the facility’s and cabin quality is amazing however I was put in cabin #1 which is right next to a major highway, the sound of trucks and cars going passed all day and night was not the relaxing holiday I was looking for. Not sure if the traffic sound would have been much better if I was in a cabin further back. Great park, terrible location and I definitely will not be back! Absolutely not worth the money I paid to stay here I would have been better off in a hotel room.
Loved staying at this immaculate park with my hubby and 2 dogs in our own van. So pleasant quiet with lovely amenities. Sooooo Quiet. Can't wait till next time. Amenities were 10 out of 10. The kitchen was like being at home, it had everything. The staff were amazing. Such a beautiful well kept park to stay in
