Paris Cat Jazz Club

This is exactly what I wanted for my night.

We got dressed up; fire engine red lippy and matching attire, we felt liked we belonged there.

Dark, moody and luxurious, the waiter service was on point, they too dressed to match the feel of the place.

I wish I had of bought the cd from the band I saw!

Stevie Wonderful (Lauren Schade) were performing, resulting in an excellent evening of soul/jazz with cocktails

Minayu’s performance was amazing! We were there for the ghibli’s play and we were blown away by how great it was. It was very touching and we thoroughly enjoyed the performance. However, there could’ve been some improvement from the violinist as there was a few mistakes/off key here and there but overall we loved it.

This venue had a great energy and was definitely impressive in its interior design. I'd probably suggest better hosting - having a MC and crowd control for noise would be useful as often it would interfere with the performances.

The Paris Cat is a cosy personal venue with really friendly staff. A must to visit in Melbourne. We had a truly outstanding evening. Ben McGill gave a deeply genuine emotional performance with humour and style, backed by the best jazz band I have heard in years.

Went to see Minnie Collective - Carol King Reimagined. Great vibes at the club as always but let down by lack lustre performance overall. Tickets were expensive for the number of songs done with a repeat song as encore!

The quintessential Melbourne music experience. Top cocktails, Melbourne's finest bands and singers, from Jazz to funk and r and b. It's very popular so book tickets well in advance

Will never return here again, our chair was taken with singers friends and we couldn’t sit till we found out what was happening. Staff are not professional and they don't care. The bar is very loud and noisy making drinks during the performance and the environment is very small.

Cool vibe. Could be a bit better organised. Not too much of a fan of sharing tables with randoms, maybe if they had disclosed that before purchasing tickets.

This was the first jazz bar I’ve been to since moving to Melbourne and it’s by far my favourite. The warmth and the heart that this place keeps you coming back time after time. Very unassuming from the outside, exactly what you want from a jazz bar. The staff are always so lovely and I just love being in a place where they clearly love to work. It really makes the experience for me- you can tell they enjoy jazz themselves.

Great venue. Talented musicians, welcoming atmosphere, small but mighty drinks list, and super friendly, helpful staff. Have been a couple times and will certainly return.

First time here Such a great vibe from top to bottom. So many stairs joining the various levels. Very friendly bar service. Enjoyed the rectangular vegetarian pizzas very much. My friend and I loved listening to the David Dower Trio who were magnificent. Mid week was fine. Prepaid parking nearby made it very safe and easy for us.

Venue is great, perfect jazzy vibe.
Drinks good and they have something for nibble if you’re hungry.

Nice place to chill and listen to Jazz music. The room is a bit small and the bar cocktails were not well made. I will definitely go here again and recommend this place to my friends too.

As mentioned in other reviews it's a lovely intimate atmosphere. However, sitting upstairs to watch a show I was cold throughout due to lack of heating which made my first experience uncomfortable. Unfortunately because of this I've had to give 3stars.

Always enjoy shows here and staff are friendly. Watch your step on the stairs as the building is older and they're smaller than usual.
