Paradai Thai Elsternwick

Walked in on Saturday night before Xmas at 8: 30, and was told the kitchen was closing at 9 which surprised me being a busy Saturday night. Ordered Green thai chicken curry.which was one of the hotest I have ever eaten. Not that impressed with the service - got the feeling they just wanted to get rid of us and close the doors. With a thriving suburb full of good restaurants - why close so early?

Absolutely delicious fresh, tasty Thai food at very reasonable prices. Lovely service. Everything we had (prawn crackers, red duck curry, steamed rice, pad see ew) was so yummy - will definitely be back!

Chicken wings and skewers were dry and coldrequested a new serving.

Update: back for another visit. Food was good again but the service pretty hopeless:
1. I was trying to get their attention for almost ten minutes to order, but the waitresses did not look out.
2. We had finished our water bottle and it was quickly removed but then nothing came back, until we asked 15 min later.
3. Despite taking our orders on an ipad our 5th dish was completely missed, until we asked later what happened.

Great Thai addition to Glen Huntley road strip. Great food, not as sweet and rich as Thai can be, very fresh. Only disappointment was Roti, pretty bland. On a Friday night had to be patient to order but food came quickly after that. Great atmosphere in this fairly large restaurant, can accommodate bigger parties if booking ahead. Sofa seats can't really use the back rest bar but comfy otherwise.

Great place the food was really good quality and good prices. Could do with a better wine menu but they allow BYO.

This place is perfect for a date night or casual dining.the ambience and service is absolutely on point! The food was well presented but could have been better.
Tried the pad khee Mao in beef. The beef was chewy and the noodles were stuck together. Was missing some veggies too.

I ordered Pad Thai noodles and they were good. The portion size was generous. If you're looking for good Thai food at a reasonable price, then this is the place to go!

Moderately friendly service in a lovely atmosphere. Ordered chicken spring rolls, satay chicken skewers, steamed fish and massaman beef. The real letdown was the beef curry, really firm solid blocks and meat served barely warm.
Upon paying I mentioned the beef dish vs the other three decent dishes, the waitress smiled and said ok, I'll tell the kitchen! To reiterate the message incase she didn't hear me, I repeated it. Again I got a smile and same message. Maybe don't care?
Won't be back. There are plenty of other places that may not look as swanky, but at least care what customers think.
At $55 per head, could have been a different experience for a midweek dinner.

Authentic, FRESH, and so tasty Thai food. Very good prices, generous size dishes, and the food is superb! Went 2 nights in a row!
Had the;
Pork and chicken dumplings, pad thai, caramelised bbq pork, fried rice, and tom kah soup. Each dish was brilliant. Very good and fast service.
Highly recommended!

Normally go to carnegie as we are local but wow what a wonderful experience coming to elsternwick was.
Friendly courteous service and understanding of my diet needs. Our group had a number of tasty dishes.

Previously Penta and retaining the lovely fit out I was excited to try a new local Thai though I wasn’t overly impressed. The satay sauce was not generous on either the chicken skewers or roti (which was dry) though the portions of the mains were sizeable and so were the inclusions of meat. Food didn’t agree with us either unfortunately

YUM! Best Thai I have ever eaten. Good service, fresh produce and nice venue. Only issue if i had to name one was the venue was a little cold.

Have loved all Paradis Thai but this one is quite special. Taken over existing restaurant space which is beautifully suited to this sensational Thai restaurant. Great good at a great price. Excellent service. Have been several times since they opened. Will always go back!

Wow! The food was soooo good! Even better than expected! We'll definitely be back. Some of the seating isn't the most comfortable, but the service and atmosphere was great.

A very nice place for Thai food. Lovely environment, perfect for dinner. We got the duck curry wich was amazing and rotti with peanut sauce. If tu dont feel like alcohol, please try the passion fruit lychee soda. Was amazing. 66$ for two people.

Absolutely wonderful food, great service and good prices. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet - a great place to bring friends or family share a bottle of wine and eat tasty, fresh food. Love it!
