42Not a lot of Malaysian places are open for breakfast but this one is. Great for grabbing a Nasi Lemak Bungkus on my way if I'm in the area. It is an express version of the franchise so you probably won't find the full list of menu items from the QV branch for example, but they have most of the regular and popular items, and they do it decently. Plenty of casual seating available. Fast service.
Quick lunch before train went - good food served promptly by friendly staff. Atmosphere? It’s a railway station! Food 4/5 Service 4/5 Ambience 2/5
Waited 20 minutes for take away on my break. Ended up not even getting my food because I had spent the whole time waiting.
Sat down to dine just outside the restaurant at Southern Cross but left immediately because the floor was filthy with fluff, bird seed, unwashed dusty window base.put us right off eating there. (tabletops and seats were clean however).
Had the breakfast kaya set. Teh Tarik was good however the serving size was quite small.
Toast itself wasn't the best. Toast was pretty much cold and too crispy. Kaya flavor hardly came through and totally overpowered by the butter.
The staff had no idea what was in what I ordered. I tried to ask for no shrimp in my char kway teow and she said that it doesn't come with shrimp. Wrong it does and it did. The noodles were not the flat noodles they were hokkien noodles and there was no heat or flavour! Will never go back and don't recommend especially for the price you pay.
Small portion sizes with blunt taste. The fried chicken was not marinated well and had just boiled. Laksa filling was all dried items than fresh ones. Not worth for the money spent and disappointed.
Surprising good food for at a station. If you don't mind the busy location I highly recommend and will be back to try something else.
Food is always beautiful, and well priced.
The wait staff are also very friendly and thoughtful.
Thank you!
Horrible experience yesterday. Ordered the fried chicken skin. The thing I was served doesn't qualify as food. It was cold, burnt, bitter and disgusting. I could see feathers on the skins. I took it back to the counter explaining what's wrong and then came back to my table. They just took the dish back. Didn't say sorry, didn't offer me a replacement or refund. I waited on my table just to see what do they do. Nothing. Nada.
Never coming back.
Very bad watery tasteless congee. Please never order it! Waste of time going there and waste of money.
Small restaurant with variety of seafood. Noodle soup is worth mentioning. We also tries egg fried noodles with shredded chicken side and prawns dumpling. It tasted awesome. Definitely would recommend it!
Not many options available on uber eats. Haven't been to the physical restaurant. Food portion delivered was different and smaller. Where as Paparich in QV the price and the portion is correct. Ther never answer their phone which is frustrating.
Paid $17.50 for Nasi Lemak takeaway. Once I opened the box I was utterly shocked at the portion of food. The food portion in entirety was very very small. It was the size of a small snack. Would have got a better deal in other shops for the same amount. Check the portion of your takeaway's before you leave. Not going there again.
Had lunch here yesterday and ordered Nasi Lemak. It was ok, generous portion, chicken meat still has skin. I was a bit disappointed though they had ran out of crispy chicken skin. Had an ok lunch, nice staffs, clean.
I ordered a mee goreng and it was tasting too oily and burnt. I’ve visited many times and their rice dishes top the noodle dishes
I ordered a Fried rice and the beef curry!
That was like a set menu!
On my way to Sydney from Melbourne!
Unfortunately the beef curry was SO COLD but the Fried Rice was Tip Top!
It was nice and warm!
One of the staff was passing by and I shared with her about this Cold Meat!
She was SO apologetic and asked whether she could offer me any drink!
(I have almost finished my meal by then.)
At the first instance I said no then secondary I accepted a warm cup of tea!
PapaRich is so lucky to have a staff like LAUREN!
As she used her own discretion and looked after the customer then and there!
That made a huge difference!
We travel to Melbourne quite often and I will still go to PapaRich because of Lauren’s great customer service!
It made my heart and soul so warm with the freely offered cup of tea to rectify the error!
Well done job Lauren! Appreciated to the utmost. Your company haven’t lost the customer due to your extraordinary customer service!
Thanking you
Cheap and delicious. I can not tap my card for payment but got friendly helped! They even got me free drinks for my trouble!
A very nice place and very minimalis for a shop like Papparich. Easy to access and comfie place.
However, the portion of the dish is different across Australia. I used to eat at Papparich Parramatta with my partner and never disappointed at all. With Southern Cross, errr…. The curry is not rich enough and portion is different. Hope they can altered in the future as the price is being increased for each dishes: (
They have a bunch of fake meats for vegans.as someone who's been a vegetarian all my life, I find the texture of meats ew. Since fake meats have the same texture, they don't really work well for me.
Luckily though, it was all sold out and the lady at the counter was incredibly generous to offer roti with the sauces and it was simply delicious! I also loved how perfect the portion size was for me than an excessively sized lunch destroying the rest of my workday (although come to think of it, it wouldn't be such a bad scenario)
