My partner and I moved 40 minutes away from this centre 18 months ago and still choose to send our daughter here because the care they provide for our little one is phenomenal. My daughter has been attending papilio Blackburn since she was 6 months old. She is now three and I couldn’t have chosen a better childcare centre. It has a small homely feel and the staff have all been there for many years. The managers Em and Melissa are outstanding and always have the time of day to answer any of my questions. Not to mention the food amber the chef cooks is deluxe! They have also just recently finished major renovations both inside and outside of the centre and it looks just fabulous. Would recommend papilio Blackburn to anyone.

Papilio Blackburn center is a childcare I can give 10 stars if was possible.
As first parents we were completely lost and afraid on which childcare to enroll our kid. Im so happy we have chosen Papilio Blackburn. Emily and the Team are like a family. They are supportive and loving with the kids. Our girl has been so happy there, that we feel so sad to leave due changing residence. We cant recommend more the center, is really great.

Papillio Early Learning Blackburn is a one of a kind centre. The children are so lucky to be in the care of such thoughtful and hard working educators who go above and beyond for the children. I was lucky enough to do a teaching placement at this centre and was so impressed with the way the centre was run and the relationships and bonds all staff form with the children. Keep up the fantastic work team:)

My son has attended here for a few years now. He is very happy here. The standout feature is that the staff really love the children. This is clear from how the children are cared for, as well as how activities and environments are addressed to the children's development.

(Note: I have noticed a few negative reviews. They are not consistent with my experience. However, some of them may reflect a period when the centre manager moved on, and it took a little while for a long term replacement to be found. I noticed that organisation and communication were slightly negatively affected during that period, but surely this is to be expected, and in any case, it is well in the past now.)

I found this centre as my family member has recommended with good feedback. I send both of my children and have experience my children are happy at care so far. I am thankful for the kindness of the staff and the bright and positive energy I get from the educators. We are glad to have Kay who is Korean who can help my children with Korean language when needed. We've been to other centres and this centre is number 1 on our list so far. I would recommend this centre to my family and friends.

I highly recommend Papilio Blackburn. This centre is truly invested in making sure every child thrives. The educators understand that building attachments with children is the key to helping them feel safe and secure and this ensured our daughter settled into the nursery room much quicker than we anticipated. You (and your child/ren) see the same faces every day which definitely helps when transitioning to a new environment. It is smaller than other centres in the local area and that’s one of the things we love the most as you are definitely not just a number here. There is a wonderful community feel to this centre. The food on offer looks amazing and we love borrowing great books from the centre’s community library. Communication from the educators is excellent and we are always informed of how our child’s day went both verbally and via the Story Park app. This centre also offers a kinder program which I have heard great things about in regards to the learning experiences on offer and school readiness. I have been super impressed by the manager who is extremely helpful, approachable and welcoming of feedback. Our experience has been a very positive and pleasant one. If you are thinking about this centre for your child, definitely book in a tour. We are so glad we did and feel very relieved knowing our child is so well cared for.

I always have peace of mind dropping my daughter off here while i go to work.the staff always keep me updated with what she is doing throughout the day with photos and verbal communication during pick ups and drop offs. Great childcare centre for my little girl to grow with.

My 8 month old daughter attends papilio blackburn and i couldnt ask for better educators to care for her, they really do go above and beyond what is needed!
I also love that it is a smaller centre and has a more homely feel to it, your child isn't just a number here.
Emily the new manager is lovely and always answers my questions no matter how silly they may sound. The new updates done with all the resources and outdoor area make such a difference as well.definitely recommend:)

We have been here for almost 3 years and are loving it at Papilio Early Learning! The staff always go above and beyond to ensure our child is happy, safe and learning. The staff work together to ensure every individual child's needs are met and are constantly working to improve their centre. It is a beautiful learning environment. We have had a wonderful experience at Papilio Blackburn over the last 3 years. From drop of to collection everyone is just so lovely & make you feel like family. The last few months especially we have had so much support and understanding from everyone at Papilio. It’s a very special and nurturing place for little people.

While the outdoor playground was spacious and some staff were genuine and caring, the poor management in this centre was horrible. Centre managers kept changing and it's always hard to maintain a professional and efficient communication with the centre. Some staff would show 'attitudes' when there's a concern. $150 a day and I believe that this is the most expensive childcare in Blackburn with average service, food and tiny room.

The centre is an amazing environment for little minds to be creative and grow. The educators create a happy, safe, and energetic space for their little charges everyday and the children adore them. The educators passion for ECE is clear in their enthusiasm and love for their work. Management is fantastic, educators are the best you’ll find and each work equally hard to maintain a fun, educational, creative and diverse environment. Good job guys. You are all gems.

Such an amazing childcare centre! All the staff are so friendly, caring and supportive and could not speak more highly of everyone in the centre! My child loves going there each week especially with all the fantastic refurbishments, new furniture and toys there is so much for him to play with! And Ms Ambers kitchen is simply top notch food!

I havent seen any childcare like this one, very poor, old and dirty environment for kids. Always sick in this childcare centre. No mamager/change all the time. Also it's the most expensive one, I couldnt understand why this one can pass goverment check (if someone come to check, they will put enough teacher in room and clean up). Kid came back home always nappy rash or poos left (not change on time or didnt do properly). Now my kid left and enjoy the new one. 200% not recommend.

We looked for a long for a good childcare and when we walked into maple street we felt at home.

If i could give zero stars I would. Communication and customer service is just horrible. If this is the way they treat adults how do they treat your kids.
