Always a pleasant visit, dog friendly, good food and coffee, outdoor seating with the view & smells of the native nursery garden, which tempts me to wonder through and be inspired to spend time in the garden.

Your oil needs changing, the chips weren’t great and your menu isn’t overly large. Great coffee though. EDIT- must have new cooks. Because it’s bloody delicious now.obsessed with this cafe

Hey Guys, just be careful when booking for events. It was my sisters bridal reveal and she booked a month in advance.
Thankfully she called again closer to event to confirm - staff explained that the table she booked a month ago was not available literally the day of the event and after a five minute conversation of how this happened without even being consulted the lady said if the time was pushed back half an hour they would be able to fit us on the table we had asked for a month ago. My sister then called all her people on the day off and asked them to come later. Some people already on their way there. My sisters event was already stressful enough with organising everything to be done well. Hence why we booked early.
We then came to paper back and were told that the table was not available a second after being told on the phone if we came later it would be. At this stage we were all over it.

This was absolutely not the experience we thought we would have.
It was a nightmare and really bad customer service. Really poor communication. Management didn’t come and apologise but knew we were there. Just be aware.

We love sitting amongst the bushy backdrop of the nursery, but the service usually leaves a bit to be desired. The cakes are ok, but not as tasty as they used to be, not as large. Our coffees today were average.

The food was good. The avocado on toast was great. However, the Poke Bowl was subpar.
The customer service seemed a little bit cold. However, they were busy, so they were probably just stressed.
Again, they were busy, so it took a little longer for the food to come out.
The ambience and vibe of the place is great. Especially the nursery which is attached to the Cafe.

Love everything about this place. Plants are excellent quality although a bit pricey. Interesting quality shop.

The cafe has jumped ahead in leaps and bounds.
The menu is up there with any contemporary cafe menu and it changes regularly.
The new fit out works very well.

Great variety of interesting options on the menu. Many dishes incorporate native foods, and everything we ordered was delicious. Love the kids meals, they came with a fruit juice box, fresh fruit and a chocolate frog! A big hit with our family! We'll definitely be back to try out some more of the dishes! Only let down was it was quite difficult to get the attention of the wait staff, otherwise the experience was first class.

Lovely nursery, cafe and gift shop surrounded by a picturesque bushy setting with indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately our experience was let down by the customer service. After waiting for table service, we realised that we needed to order and pay via QR code at the table so we were all sitting on our phones for a while. I realise it's a cost saving for the business but feels a bit impersonal for a local cafe. You also get charged a processing fee. Unfortunately the poor waitress spilled a hot coffee all over our table, phones, sunglasses etc. Accidents happen, we totally understand, but it was the lack of appropriate response that disappointed us. The waitress barely apologised and we were given a few serviettes and left to clean it up ourselves! We had to rinse our belongings in the bathroom. A fellow diner was equally shocked and said "that's bad". We were asked if we wanted to stay at the same dirty table that they hadn't even wiped clean. Another customer offered her table, as she was about to leave. They forgot our replacement coffee. When I enquired after 15-20 mins of waiting, the response was defensive and I was told they were busy and doing their best, and asked if I still wanted the coffee. We were not provided with any water. And it took about 30 mins to clear our plates.
The food and environment were nice but the attitude of staff was really disappointing.

The breakfast I ordered itself was excellent - if a little lukewarm in temperature. What left a sour taste in my mouth was being charged $6 EXTRA on top of the $27 menu cost! The waitress had previously confirmed that I could swap out my mushrooms for a hash brown (and I'd pay the extra $1 difference in items). I actually ended up paying for BOTH the mushrooms AND hash brown - meaning my breakfast came in at a ridiculously expensive $33!

What a lovely discovery during our last weekend trip to that area, we knew about the place, but never stopped by. The food was delicious, the shop was full of goodies, and the garden was lovely.

Pretty good scrambled eggs on toast, very fast and pleasant service. Would be nice to have a pepper grinder on the table, but that's a minor quibble. Not a cheap lunch, but pretty good all the same.

We had breakfast before the Friday rush. Food was so delicious. The service was fast and smiley. Was lovely to also be greeted upon leaving with "have a lovely day" and again very smiley and friendly. Very genuine. Will be back again not just for the lovely service but the awesome menu.

Great atmosphere, helpful staff, really different and tasty food. Good prices too. Highly recommend returning again. Better to book a table.

Two stars is generous! I returned to this cafe recently, expecting a beautiful experience like my previous visits. However it was not to be had. The prices have gone up substantially and the lunch menu has reduced to about 5-6 expensive meals. There are no smaller options for those who may have preferred a smaller lunch - such as wraps, sandwiches or paninis etc. The breakfast menu looked a whole lot more appealing to us all but unfortunately you cannot order the breakfast outside of the allocated times, we asked as we were 15 minutes out of the time frame. 3 out of 5 of us ordered a cake and coffee option as we couldn't justify the price nor find anything that appealed out of the limited lunch options.

Disappointing service and food, will not return as there are many other options around Mount Evelyn which are friendlier, delicious and offer better value for money.

Amazing food and service here. Even though they were busy during a weekend, we were still greeted with a friendly service. Food arrive in a reasonable time. They also have a plant nursery and local product shop with extensive selection.

Like their scone, cream and jam. Freshly made with beautiful texture. But we are disappointed as being charged $3 for two glasses of hot water. We were not aware that there would be additional charge for having hot water until we paid the bill.

Beautiful space to buy garden items and native plants. Easy layout, well designed spaces and I finally found my dream pot (if that's a thing!) Highly recommend!
