We went for a little drive and stopped for a drink but walked out with the most beautiful face cream and cookies! The gentleman serving us was so so friendly and kind and he had on the happiest Hawaiian shirt! We had a lovely little browse and left feeling happy too. Thank you! We will need more hemp products soon and will be back for more wonderful customer service.
The new owner is a breath of fresh air. He is friendly and has transformed this place in the short time that has taken over. Good luck.
Panton Hill, Smiths Gully and Kangaroo Ground General Stores are the 3 icons on the same side of the road! Not just for the locals, the Panton Hill and Smiths Gully have become centring points for mountain bikers and hikers as well! The undulating hills and it’s proximity to the historical Queenstown cemetery built in the 1860’s adds flavour to the place! There is a 2km historical hike linking to St Andrew’s as well!
Good General Store with plenty of offerings, coffee is good and sitting out the front just right.
Excellent service and delicious curries on Friday and Saturday night. It's always a pleasure to stop by.

Really pretty poor. Magazines, newspapers, sweets, cold meats and that is it. Not a vegetable or fruit in sight.
