I travelled the world for years, often visiting Italy 5 times a year for work (my employer was an Italian company). The best pizza I have ever had was in a small Italian country town just out of montebelluna, that was over 25 years ago. I have been in search of something in australia that compares to the pizza I'd eat in a small country town 25 years ago and found it in tbe most obscure area in the north at Pane E Pizza! If you're after a traditional Aussie style pizza with the lot, go to your local johnos pizza shop but if you are after a pizza where taste and texture is the most important component that makes up a amazing pizza then this place is the place, super quick to be made you don't even have time to check messages or emails before it's served up. I haven't tried anything else but the pizza, I can not bring myself to miss something I know is just to good! I found this place by accident because a friend needed a coffee and I happened to be hungry.
I highly recommend anyone give it a shot if you want something authentic and bursting with flavour. I have taken my friends and family there many times. Staff are nice and friendly too, but not as good as the pizza lol

This place is amazing! Such a rare find to have pizza this good even in Melbourne, the arancini is also amazing. I ordered here three nights in a row when my mrs was away, honestly doesn’t get any better!

Got a capricosa - pizza toppings were inconsistently spread out (one slice had only ham, another slice had 5 olives), also the whole pizza had about 5 mushrooms!

I had heard lots of good recommendations made about this place, but sadly when we took the initiative to try them, both me and the hubby were disappointed. The dough was too doughy, too chewy/floury, and not enough toppings. Because we got takeaway, when we grabbed each slice, the toppings fell off. Halfway into eating the pizza, I started leaving the crusts on the table, which I hardly ever do. I have been to Italy and understand their pizzas aren't the same as Melbourne ones, but all I can say is that I personally won't be coming back, especially when you're paying over $20 for lots of dough and not enough topping to give it enough flavour.

Hands down the best pizza I've ever had. The sauce they use for their bases is incredible. Quality produce and excellent service. I refuse to have pizza from anywhere else but from these guys

Love their wood-fired pizzas. We order from them regularly and they never disappoint in quality. They're the best pizza place in the area, by far.

5 stars. Dining in or taking away is amazing. My partner and I love the calabrese pasta, its our favourite. Pizza is beautiful, margherita di Bufala is exactly like I had in Italy. Severely underrated, I'm always telling my friends and family they have to try!

Ordered uber eats the spaghetti Bolognese
It came and it was dreadful infact it was inedible smelt really bad and was obviously re heated in the microwave and not a cheap pasta, $18 and the portion was tiny.

The Pizza was just awsome. I was coming to Melbourne to see my Nephews and Niece.now if i see them that's great, but I'm coming back for this pizza just sayin.sorry kids.
