Authentic and superb mala hotpot! My favorite so far in Melbourne! Funny, chliché design of the place but it’s entertaining. Food and service made one feel like being back in China! 好吃

Spicy levels are Szechuan based, Mild is already spicy for Westerners

You'll be amazed since the first step with their grand decoration. The soup was so tasty but be mindful if you can't handle the heat. All dishes were delicious especially mashed shrimp and duck intestine. The service was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Chris. She was so helpful and always come with a smile. Definitely worth it!

The food and service here are both rlly commendable. Would definitely recommend coming to try and taste the different types of hotpot bases.

I like the interior. The staff were also friendly.
However, the food is nothing special compared to other Hot Pots.

Really cool looking place. I did not like the flavours in the soups and there was an overwhelming metallic and waxy flavour to everything.

Update: both colleague and I very very sick the next day. Be careful.

The taste is good, and there are local styles, it is worth trying. However, I was very unhappy to draw Xiao Feng so wretchedly, and I don’t know if it’s because of the private room. I don’t get taken care of very much. I basically have to go out and shout by myself, but it’s understandable. Last night I even spilled rice cake brown sugar juice My clothes are on. I'm just here to complain.

If you want an experience this is an experience! On the other hand, don't go there for a good meal, and the prices are crazy

Panda Hot Pot is the perfect place to go especially when the weather is cold. The interior is huge and spacious and it looks and feels like you are stepping into a grand palace. The service is excellent and friendly. The ingredients are fresh and there are so many things to choose from. The broths are arguably the most important thing in a hotpot, in my opinion. Because everything is dunked in that broth it needs to be flavourful and not overly salty. The broths we ordered were pork and spicy (mild was just nice for us). They were delicious - in-between waiting for the ingredients to cook I would have some broth on its own. You can tell that loads of ingredients went into the broths which have been simmered for a long time. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and can’t wait to go back again. Thank you Panda Hot Pot for the delicious feed!

This was my first dinner post lockdown and what am exceptional night it was. On Victoria Street and the entrance is really impressive.

Once inside the service was fantastic with both a lovely waitress and waiter who were extremely attentive.

We started with a beer and a delicious cocktail served in a sake bottle. The cocktail was peach flavoured and absolutely delicious.

Then the food arrived which started with crispy chicken which was a great starter.

Then the Wagyu meat arrived w some lamb and pork ready for the hot pot. All the meat were delicious, soft and juicy. The Wagyu was perfect.and served with some milk, and it was moorish!

The hot pot was mildly spicy on 1 side and tomato base on the other side. The spicy soup was delicious and at first quite mild but then it sneaks up on you hahaha.whoa!

But fortunately I some amazing snacks such as fried sticky rice cakes w brown sugar, an amazing brown sugar iced pudding. These are essentials in my view.

I also tried some fish which was cooked in the hot pots and it just melted as I ate it. This was perfect!

The mushrooms were cooked in the hot pot and they were yummy.

The potatoes hit the table and I thought it was a flower. The presentation of this dish was incredible, and stunning. The potatoes were paper thin slices that cooked easily in the hot pot and it was a great vegetarian dish.

There is a condiments section where you can get additional treats to have with you meal.

Panda Hot Pot is HUGE inside so you'll have no worries about social distancing.

I had a great time, and I'm keen to go back. This place is a must visit.

What an amazing experience dining here. The interior settings and decors are excellent and outstanding. Good hot pot flavours with heaps of selection of dishes to put inside. Service is great too.

We had a fantastic group dinner at Panda Hot Pot. Recommend half and half of mild and another broth of your choice. Great Sichuan hot pot, really delicious spicy broths and staff were lovely!

Looks to be a great place but unfortunately when I called to they (regrettably) told me their broth is all made with meat.

Looking to come here once they employ a more neutral broth.

Hot Pot Panda is located in Calton and serves a variety of meals including their famous hot pots.

It is open for dinner 7 days a week from 5 to 11 pm and lunch 6 days not on a friday 11: 30am–2pm.

I have only been there once but it instantly became my favourite restaurant. When I walked into the restaurant it felt like I was walking into a whole new world.

I was filled with joy when I walked in at the front because they were making sculptures out of spun sugar which was amazing. They somehow make the food taste great, look great AND smell great!

The atmosphere is incredible too, it's always full of people enjoying their meals. On the roof is a 1.5 ton steel dragon and you're surrounded by people dipping their ladles into spicy, steamsing brooth in massive pots. During dinner a performer comes around to the table wearing a mask that changes colour when she blinks, it's pretty magical.

Food is very well decorative and delicious, services are incredibly good but just the environment is a bit too hot in there.

Food and customer service was exellent. Pineapple juice was amazing xD the mushroom soup was yum. Not spicy at all xD

The moment you walk in it you'll be in awe by the gigantic dragon hanging over a massive staircase and electronic ceiling. Halfway through the seating they often have a show, when we were there it was a face changing act. Onto the food, presentation of each dish is just as grand as the decor. All the ingredients were fresh and the serving size is quite generous. Be careful when chosing the broth because even the mild spicy broth was quite spicy (I'd say I have quite a high spice tolerance). There is a sauce station to mix the perfect condiment.

Got reaped off here! Told was great hotpot here. Order some duck blood from the Easi take away here.

However when the food arrived everything is fine except there is no duck blood in the take away box.

Rang back got told no refund no compensation.
