Palling Bros Brewery reviews
30 Plenty of vegan options on the menu. Vegan parma is to die for (pic). Buffalo cauliflower wings sauce is yummy but can be crunchier. Lovely staff, great food, good beer. Highly recommend.
It'll be great if they can do non alcoholic beer in the future.
Had amazing lunch at Palling bro brewery, recommend if you are in Heathcote. Dog-friendly and awesome local bears.
Great customer service
Just been served pork ribs which were awful. Majority of the meat was fat, I actually thought I'd been served pork belly. I'd go to say the worst ribs I've ever had in Australia. Didn't come with any salad or chips either which wouldn't had bothered me if the meat was half decent.
After raising my concerns with the waitress she seemed completely disinterested. I then raised it with the bar staff and their response was 'well that's what we get from the supplier'. Seriously guys you need to take things like this on board.
On a good note the beer is good.
Award winning brews and generously sized pub food to match. Pup friendly beer garden. Surprised it wasn't busier on a sunny Saturday afternoon
Enjoyed a pama with chips and a stout for lunch.
Good atmosphere and a little bit busy.
This place is fantastic with great atmosphere. The meals were delicious. We can't wait to come back.
Absolutely amazing food staff are awesome atmosphere is cozy and unique worth a half hour drive
Lovely outdoor area for a gathering. Good range of food on offer, great range of drinks, some very interesting things. I had a delicious cherry-chocolate porter. Husband had a raspberry sour.
Was our first time to this brewery. The pork ribs they made were the best! So tender and tasty. The goat tacos were quite good as well, also with big serving size. Also tried their popular raspberry sour beer, was not bad.
Friendly stuff and comfortable environment, highly recommend.
Brilliant, beer the way it should be. Food was awesome, definitely taking the boys back for the triple beef Burger challenge!
Not just a brewery - this place also has great food! From the moment we walked in we encountered great, friendly service from all the staff here. They definitely like what they do and it shows.
After checking out the menu we decided to stick to starters and ordered the special of Garlic Bread then Mushroom Arancini Balls with garlic aioli, Salt and Pepper Calamari with lime aioli and the Crispy Southern Fried Chicken Tenders with sweet chilli aioli. All were delicious and left us wanting more (and the different aiolis were perfectly paired!).
We sat inside under the heaters but there is also tables set up outside which I’m sure would be filled during Summer!
So even though Heathcote is known for its wines I would definitely suggest you stop by here for some great food if you’re travelling through!
Absolutely loved this place. Fantastic beers, try the helles lager, the ice cream IPA or the stout, top class. The brewer was so incredibly friendly. Can't wait to come back!
This place found us when we were desperately trying to find a good place to have a late lunch as the first timers in the lovely town Heathcote. We were so lucky The owners and staff were very kind and friendly, very attentive and generous to our naive requests The atmosphere was relaxing and nice, the foods were so delicious to us the cappuccino was top AND the beer were GREAT Will be back definitely with a gang of friends
We’ll done to Pete & his team for creating a great venue in rural Vic. Beers are great, service is country-friendly & the burgers are good too!
I recently went to the Palling Bros for dinner. The staff were all very friendly and happy to have a chat and tell us what to visit in the area. We got a few entrees to share and 2 mains to share the food was very well portioned and very tasty, beer was also very good with the staff very knowledgeable. Will defiantly be returning next time I am in Heathcote.
Really love it here. The service is exceptional. First time we shared the goat tacos and second time a burger with a beer. I'm not a beer drinker but the ice-cream lager is really refreshing. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
We really enjoyed our visit here, great beers on tap, especially the IPA with NZ Hops.
Also, you'd be pushed to find better beer food than their Goat Burger, extremely tasty.
Great friendly service as well, brought me over a couple of extra samples after asking what type of beers I preferred,
Really good setup, plenty of space inside plus an outside area as well, highly recommend a visit if in the area.
This place never disappoints! Food is always great and the beer is always cold (and good!). Love the seasonal taps they put on and the atmosphere of the place is so enjoyable. We are fast becoming regulars at the brewery!
Very Enjoy to try the beer paddle!
Giving a good explain on beer hop flavour from Large to IPA!
By the way, the beef burgers is matched very well! Finally, having to say Staff attitude is laudable!
4 paddle tasters come out with 7 scrumptious beers! Not ideal if driving, but plan to walk home and have fun!
Food is high koala-ty and delectable!
I will come back multiple times!
BEER!
