We had the best experience today for my child’s 6th birthday party. Hugh and all the staff were great. I booked it through Laura at head office who was fantastic to deal with. Clean cinemas and all the kids had a blast. We’ll be back for school holiday sessions for sure! Thank you Palace cinemas for your 5 star service!

Went on a Sunday evening only to find a very unclean theatre and rowdy kids with no staff around to report or manage. I am all up for supporting local theatres but they need to hold their end of the bargain by delivering a good experience. Unfortunately this was not one of them.

Excellent theatre with good choice of films. Prices are cool and a good counter to get your popcorn and glass of wine.

The cinemas and movies are fine but it's about time that something was done about the ladies toilet area. One soap dispenser and one hand dryer to service about six sinks. Bad enough when there's only a couple of people but utterly insufficient when there's a lot of people. The sink area has always been badly designed - the bench is always wet and that means you get wet too. It's really annoying. It's time Palace did something about it.
Edit: its Feb 2022 and the sink area is still wet. Two hand dryers now.

I have never been here in my life. Youre mixing me up with someone else i hate multiplex cinemas. No atmosphere.like padded cells. Love old movies and old movie houses most of which are gone unfortunately so i watch old moviez on utube.

Great place to spontaneously come to watch a movie. A good selection of food, good theatres, and busy area. Always a ticket available for you. Staff are kind. Although the amount of theatres is very small, only a few.

Man serving at the front counter was shockingly rude. Was the most unwelcoming cinema experience I've ever had

Great $5 tickets but unfortunately the patrons were all seated together even though there was plenty of room to social distance. As no one was required to wear a mask, I felt very uncomfotable, especially when the person next to me coughed a few times. Seating may be done for quick cleaning but not for social distancing.

It's so quiet during the week and post lockdown, so sometimes it feels like you have the cinema to yourself. They have some good quality movies Here, as it's part of the Palace group, and their club is worth joining, especially the Golden Club, for us oldies!

Unlike the mega-complexes of the other major cinema chains, these cinemas have a richness and warmth to them, the old-school feeling of somewhere special to watch a film. The staff are polite, engaged and eager to help in anyway possible.

It’s tough to give 4 stars. The staff were great. The prices were good & to be in the old Denny again in many years was good. However the seats were worn out and saggy. The only thing that let it down is where we spend most of the time. Decor is great. But bums on seats is what matters

I caught a showing of The Personal Life of David Copperfield today - the day both the movie, and Palace Cinemas itself, reopened to the general public at long last. I was extremely pleased with the venue. The lush red curtains and classic decor helped me remember just how much I miss out on when I attend a movie at a larger, more generic franchise cinema.
The pricing was excellent, the premises absolutely gorgeous, the customer service fine. Highly impressed, great first impression of Palace Cinemas.
It would be nice if the screen itself were a little cleaner. One of my pet gripes is even small marks on cinema screens - once you notice them, it can be hard to "un-see" them. They show up worst when something bright is projected onto them.

This Cinema is in need of a refurb update. Hadnt been there for a while and could not believe how the complex has deteriorated. We went to small cinema No. 5. Access to this cinema was so dark you need a torch to find your way. No signage. Not an enjoyable experience. However The movie was excellent

Staff helpful. Aircon out in C3 but OK
Seats not best. As per all Palace cinemas in Melb THE DRINK HOLDERS ARE USELESS FOR WINE GLASSES!

I organised a birthday party at Palace Dendy Brighton, the staff where amazing, they brought ice creams into the cinema, organise an area for us to do birthday cake. The staff are very friendly and very customer focused. Thank you and you made my daughters birthday unforgettable.

Nice staff and nice theatre. Tickets are priced similarly to other cinemas, but their cheap Tuesdays are very good value.

The perfect place to go to for a quiet night at the movies. Located in the inner suburbs amongst boutique coffee shops and restaurants, makes for great local night out. Cinemas are always clean and never crowded, we love grabbing a glass of champers on way in from the candy bar!

$5 Tuesday Tickets Saw the Joker last night here. Walked down after the viewing to Coles and proceeded to purchase face paint materials, great value.
