Went to Pakenaham Firearms and was blown away by the exceptional service, range and price.

Sam and Michael were a pleasure to deal with and provided 10/10 service throughout my time in the store, So friendly and willing to share knowledge.

Yesterday, whilst in a serious pinch with my CZ Shadow 2 not functioning correctly before a match this coming Sunday, I received outstanding service from Sam who helped me get two stuck pins removed from the hammer/main spring strut.

I called several stores chasing up spare pins, all of which simply said they had none, some of which even carried on like being asked for spare parts was a stupid question. Enter Sam from Pakenham Firearms who told me he didn't have the pins, but offered to make them for me in store if it was required. An hour and a half later, I arrived at the store from the Western suburbs.

Sam ended up extracting the stuck pins without needing to make new ones, but was able to file them down so they were able to be reinserted without issue.

He then helped me diagnose an issue I was struggling to resolve where the hammer would not reset into single action, and then 20 minutes later, I put my gun back together in store and it was working perfectly again, enabling me to compete in my match on Sunday.

And after all of that, he wouldn't even accept any payment.

Whatever Sam is getting paid, it's not enough. I hope the store owner sees this and commends Sam appropriately as its extremely rare in my experience to get such friendly service at a gun shop these days and he is an absolute credit to your business.

They are organising gun safety courses without providing contact on signup or way to contact someone at the venue for access. Shame, came all the way to Pakenham for nothing.

Purchased my first box of ammo today. Couldn’t be happier with the service, seemed daunting at first but Sam went out of his way share his knowledge and help me with the purchase. Great overall experience. Would definitely recommend for newbies like my self. Thanks Guys!

Grate gun shop with Sam the man there to halep you any way he can. Even on friday at 5pm to get your new scope on the gun so you can go test it out for the long weekend. Thank you Sam for great service.

I went there with a few questions on an old Winchester 1892 and boy did he know his stuff. Gave me the time to chat, checked out the gun while I was there (which most wont - book it in mate is what they say) and gave me some more info and knowledge.
Really appreciate this kind of customer service and be treated like a human not a number = Legend.
I wont go anywhere else now.

After the worst gun shopping experience in my life at Mialls Gun shop in Frankston. I rang Pakenham Firearms and spoke to a true gentleman named Sam. I informed him of my terrible experience at Mialls.
I then visited Pakenham Firearms and was immediately impressed by Sam who was master crafting a stock from raw Blackwood.
Sam really knows his stuff, this store is one of the best in the State of Victoria

Pakenham Firearms is now my preferred gunshop.
The owner is polite and a wealth of knowledge, and is also the only professional I know of offering a rust bluing service at an affordable rate. Excellent workmanship. Affordable. I bought a 308 from them a month ago and was so impressed with their service I just made an order for a lever action.
Get in while you can, who knows how much longer we will be able to enjoy our sport before its taken from us!
