Shannon at reception was very helpful. I cannot ever find anything adverse with the treatment I receive from Brett Chandler or the other medical staff if needed.

Pain Matrix at Epworth Hospital is amazing and i thouroughly recommend here time and time again! The staff are all lovely and extremely friendly and give there absoloute all too help you. The clinic itself is a great atmosphere and is filled with brilliant physicians. Dr Diarmuid McCoy hands down is a phenomenal Specialist Pain Medicine Physician and Surgeon. It's no suprise at all why he is so highly regarded as the best in the country if not worldwide in his profession. An absoloute gentleman with a heart of gold.

Recently underwent a ketamine infusion to help manage chronic pain from a spinal impingement under diarmuid McCoy at pain matrix Geelong I felt ignored for 5 days about how severe my pain was I was having constant panic attacks which I was having before undergoing the treatment too due to a level of pain my body couldn’t bare I felt ignored for 5 days left like a lab rat I was suicidal and wanted to jump of the top of the epworth due to severe pain diarmuid McCoy came in after day 5 and told me if I tell him I’m in pain one more time he would phone an ambulance and get me sectioned I was go smacked and as a 31 year old male turned and cried into my pillow I was discharged a day early and also changed onto a medication that made me severely unstable and didn’t help with my pain one but he then refused to address this as I had fired him I was left to go through withdrawals and severe vomiting with a spinal injury I was vomiting up blood due to unsafe management of medication and not being allowed to taper I was left without a pain specialist and gp and have been discharged from hospitals at the pain specialists request and also told that I had upset the wrong person as he is one of the most senior pain consultants in the area this may be the case but how I was treated and mis managed and gaslighted about my condition is unacceptable I have been left without pain medication and nobody to continue filling scripts I have been treated like a drug addict and refused access from access to medical treatment I have gone through all the side effects of stopping a considerable dose of OxyContin almost over night when I am yet to be put through a pain management program even if I was a drug addict and had no spinal injury or medical evidence to back me up I still feel I should never of been treated the way I was or denied access to medical treatment I’m not sure if it’s the fact in English and he’s Irish but I have been struggling to put my finger on why I was treated so poorly and inhumanely I am now currently waiting to see a new pain specialist and unable to find a new gp I have been hospitalised vi ambulance three times this week and all could of been avoided had the pain specialist taken my concerns seriously and not left me in an absolute state of shock and anxiety and severe pain

Been through some serious injuries and had the run around from surgeons and pain specialists. Called pain matrix, spoke to Connie and within 4 weeks in getting the help I need. Straight forward help and advice and nothing but care and empathy. I’ve been to 3 pain specialists and all horrible, pain matrix was the only simple, straight forward and direct one to help - this is not an affiliation (3 crushed vertebra and spinal cord damage)

Thank you to Connie, Dr Prasad and Pain Matrix.
