First time in a long time I have felt really heard and listened to.only at the beginning of the journey and we may not get all the answers, but I'm confident it won't be through lack of trying. That's more than I could have hoped for.thank you!

Maleeka was compassionate, empathetic and understanding of my complex chronic pain. She was able to share thorough professional explanations of my pain management, aswell as understanding how chronic pain affects my daily personal life. I feel blessed to have crossed paths with Maleeka and am grateful to have such wonderful team supporting me.

Like going through the McDonald's drive through.
All they want to do up-sell, although maccas is only selling you large chips, this mob is into up selling invasive and expensive surgeries. With zero guarantees.
Really really disappointing.

Then there's the Opioids scripts getting thrown around like it's 1987!
It hilarious! (Sarcasm).
Pain Killers anyone?

They have taken me back to square 1 after over 3+ years of exhausting pain.
So much more I could write.
I'm just shattered.
When you look at who these people are they are Anaesthetists. Not to take away from that profession but they are not pain specific specialists. They simply call themselves that. Yes and I call myself a rocket scientist.

I actually thought Drs swore an oath to do no harm?
Not in this clinic unfortunately.
I'll be looking elsewhere for pain assistance going forward. Worth a trip to Melbourne to get quality care if there is none in Geelong, I won't suffer second rate health care.
Never have, never will.
Nor should I have to.
The patient is the reason for the clinic, then the money follows. They have it backwards.
Its so terribly sad what they're willing to do to desperate people.
As someone else stated its all box ticking. We did this procedure now we do that.

They have broken me.again.
Mentally and physically.
I'm really sad and extremely furious for wasting my time.
No apology given.
Nor would it be accepted.
Damage is done.

Please spare me the copy paste " please email us with any concrns. "
everyone reading this knows that is a cynical pr exercise.

Pain Matrix at Epworth Hospital is amazing and i thouroughly recommend here time and time again! The staff are all lovely and extremely friendly and give there absoloute all too help you. The clinic itself is a great atmosphere and is filled with brilliant physicians. Dr Diarmuid McCoy hands down is a phenomenal Specialist Pain Medicine Physician and Surgeon. It's no suprise at all why he is so highly regarded as the best in the country if not worldwide in his profession. An absoloute gentleman with a heart of gold.

Dr Brett Chandler Is the best doctor.
The receptionists team are great they do all the paper work you require. I have seen Dr Brett Chandler for a few years now. Latest think he done to me can’t post all information on here but was so caring and great. And over the years he has been caring.

I can’t rate Pain Matrix highly enough. Dr Diarmuid McCoy and the wonderful staff at reception have been so supportive of me and my medical condition. I have been treated with respect and compassion. This was it for me as I had no other options as far as pain relief from a debilitating back injury. I have had a few ketamine infusions now that have helped with my pain management. I find the process of appointments to hospital admissions very streamlined. I’m so very happy I was referred to them. They have made a very big difference in my day to day life. I’m very grateful to them all.

Hey all that are battling severe chronic pain, no I don’t know your pain and you don’t know mine, funny that’s the same as the specialists at pain Matrix after only ONE consult.

For those wanting your pain to be sorted after this ONE consult I suggest you to watch the magic of the Disney channel for a while and then think of what these professionals actually do to treat the WHOLE person.

I have been seeing Dr McCoy for years and yes I had to believe in the process of getting my particular pain sorted, not with a magic pill and no we still are working on it.

Can I just say that these specialists have dedicated their careers to helping the pain ridden and have families of their own and consult after standing all day in theatre, call patients who are too far away to consult, see and listen to many patients on a first time basis and only to hear that they DID NOTHING!? !? !? !

Come on people, give these heroes a chance, they really do have your welfare and wholistic treatment in mind.
