The food here is generally good, especially the chicken. However, I heard that there's been a recent change in ownership, and as a result, the taste has slightly declined from what it used to be. It's worth noting that there's usually only one waitress working, so it's best to be patient and avoid being pushy.

I had the Gochu Jjamppong and tasted a bit of the Tang-suyuk (s) and Jaengban Jajang. Gochu Jjamppong - very good noodles, the soup base was tasty and spicy. What is let down is the tiniest mussels I ever seen in my life. 1cm length! There were 4, the pork was so little like 2 pieces in this bowl. Majority of the bowl was the noodles and soup base.
Tang-suyuk - very tasty fried pork pieces in sweet sauce.
Jaengban Jajang - very tasty noodle in black bean sauce. They are right in saying it is shrimp because they don't look anywhere near like Aussie prawn size.

Food and service here is spectacular! The food is made fresh and noodles are freshly pulled! Highly suggest to buy the chilli chicken dish.

We discovered a hidden gem of Korean cuisine at @paiksnoodle_australia From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and attentive service. The food was a true delight for our taste buds, leaving us craving more.

The Tang Soyuk pork dish was a masterpiece! The tender and succulent pork, paired with the flavorful marinade, created a culinary experience we won’t forget. A must-try!

Jajang Myeon, the signature dish, was cooked to perfection. The noodles had just the right texture, and the black bean sauce was rich and savory. It was a symphony of flavors in every bite.

Gochu Yuingi, a tangy and slightly spicy fried chicken dish, was a showstopper. The crispy exterior gave way to juicy and tender meat, perfectly complemented by the tantalizing sauce. Absolutely addictive!

Bokkeum Jjaampong, the spicy seafood stir-fry, was a delightful explosion of flavors. Fresh seafood, vibrant vegetables, and a balanced spicy sauce created a harmonious combination that left us wanting more.

‍ The exceptional service was the cherry on top. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and ensured our dining experience was flawless. They went above and beyond to make us feel like valued guests.

If you’re a fan of Korean cuisine, a visit to Paik’s Noodles Restaurant is a must. With their outstanding dishes and impeccable service, it’s no wonder this place has become a favorite among locals and food enthusiasts alike. Don’t miss out on this culinary adventure!

The prices listed do not include GST, and adding 10% weekend surcharge. It does not worth to have lunch here during the weekend.

Had a lovely dinner here. We ordered a Jjajangmyeon and a Jjamppong and the noodles had a really nice, chewy texture. The Jjamppong's broth was really tasty too.

Paik’s noodles have recently opened their new Glen Waverley and Caulfield Village stores, serving up their popular Korean handmade noodles plus a range of other yummy dishes!

We tried:
Jaengban Jajang (Seafood Black Bean Sauce Noodles)
Jjamppong-bap (Spicy Seafood Soup w/ Noodles & Rice)
Gochu Yuringi (Spicy Fried Chicken)
Tang-Suyuk (Sweet & Sour Pork)

The texture of these noodles were sooooo damn good! So thick, so bouncy, so chewy, ooft! The Jaengban Jajang was slathered with delicious black bean sauce that was mixed through really thoroughly. We also loved the seafood soup - so spicy and full of flavour! The fried chicken was really juicy, not as crispy as we would have liked, but the sweet and sour soy sauce it came with was a great accompaniment. Loved the sweet and sour pork - maintained it’s crispiness while smothered in delicious sauce! The serving sizes here were absolutely mammoth and each dish could easily be shared between 2-3 people - we love a good value feed!

With its authentic flavors and captivating presentation, It has become a go-to destination for food enthusiasts seeking a taste of the culinary delights featured in their favorite kdramas ️

FEATURED:
Jajang-myeon (Black bean sauce noodles)
Spicy Fried Chicken with Chili Peppers and Soy sauce
Gochu Jjamppong-Bap (Spicy chili peppers and Pork soup with small portion of noodles and rice)
Tang-suyuk (sweet & sour fried pork)

Initially, I wasn't a fan of Jajang-myeon, so I was hesitant about trying it on my first visit. However, on my next visit, I fell in love with it. It was so good that I ordered one for takeaway to share with my sister, who loves black bean noodles. The taste was absolutely delicious!

The tang-suyuk and spicy fried chicken with chilli peppers was lightly covered in batter and sauces, it was definitely a delight however it lacked seasoning and became too repetitive to eat?

Overall would definitely come again for the noodles selection. Such a great budget-friendly deal

Visited for sunday lunch, easy to order through QR code, service took a little longer due to the full restaurant

Jjampong was delightfully spicy, great variety of seafood and plenty of noodles for one serving.

Spicy seafood noodles with black bean sauce was great for a sharing portion, not too spicy compared to the jjampong

Regretted not ordering more of the tangsuyuk, tender on the inside and still crisp outside.

Ordered the signature dish - was OK. Tried their best menu item, also OK. Best dish was the Gochu Jajang. Otherwise mild flavours. Nothing stood out for me. Noodles was nice. Won't be back.

Personally not for me. It seems like a youth oriented place with loud kpop but lots of families too. Feels/tastes like the fast food version of these dishes. But I can see why this might hit the spot if that's what you are looking for.

New spot at the Glen for jjajangmyeon noodles (black bean noodles)!
Staff were super lovely and accommodating, menu has a range of signature dishes to choose, combines both Chinese and Korean cuisine.
Great spot to dine in with friends and family!

We just have to try this Korean Chinese Restaurant with No. 1 Korean Handmade Noodle. It has more than 1000 Paik’s Noodle stores worldwide. We saw one in Japan!

Their Jajang-myeon with minced pork is the best for me. My son who doesn't eat pork also finished it!   The only chicken dish was Gochu Yuringi. Tang-suyuk was not bad.

They have limited menu choices but I guess they serve their specialty. There is a 10% surcharge for weekends and 15% for public holidays.

The food here is quite good and not expensive. The decor is simple but the service is quick. We enjoyed the Tang-Suyuk (fried pork) the best.
We also ordered jajeong-meong noodles, jjamppong noodles and jajang-bap and they were nice. There were four of us and we still couldn't finished the food and had to take back the noodles.
Will be back again.

Really enjoyed our meal here! Portions are great for sharing, with the option for additional noodles at $3. Chicken dishes were tender and full of flavour. For drinks, we had soju and Paik's chestnut makgeolli.

Disappointed in the jajang-myeon I had today. I’ve had the same dish at Paik’s in the city before and it was very taste but the sauce at this joint was clearly burnt (see photo) which ruined the taste of the dish as the entire dish had an underlying burnt taste.
