As soon as I walked into this store I was greeted by the lovely Monique and felt really comfortable and not pressured at all. I could browse and not feel like I was being poached. When i decided on my lounge outdoor setting I could not get over the quality, the options to choose from colour and function wise and at an affordable price! Not to mention the options for covers that are quality to protect it! I will be sharing this store to all family and friends across Melbourne wide! We have been on the lookout for outdoor furniture for a while and this place had them all! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helped us pick the right one for our space and needs. Would highly recommend for all your outdoor furniture needs:)

No flexibility in mixing and matching furniture sets. Would have purchased from here if not for the inflexibility.

Does not give me confidence later down the track that if we're to damage say a chair by accident; that it would be replaced because "they only sell the set"

Customer service needs to improve too.

*update - first impressions last, I bought my table from another supplier who were flexible and friendly. *

Great service there.

Catherine helped us out a lot there. She was very patient and answered all my questions with a lot of confidence.

Ended up buying a BBQ there after being encouraged to do more research and to come back when I was ready.

Recommend this place for anyone looking for a Weber bbq.

Great customer service. We went there to get an outdoor setting for my parents-in-law, ended up with two gorgeous furniture. The dining set fits perfectly under the gazebo and the swinging chair is a perfect set to enjoy the view of our countryside.

Purchased lounge furniture. After three years cushions started to split. This is not the issue. When I contacted them about replacement (at my cost) they advised they could not provide replacement cushions even though they still stock the exact same lounges. Very poor product support

I order a dining room table and chairs from this company almost three weeks ago.

Because it was Christmas time, I waited a week to hear from them regarding a delivery. When I did not hear from them, I called them to follow up. I spoke with a nice girl who said that she would look into my order and send me an email. She followed up with an email and advised me that my order was being dispatched the following day and that I would receive an email from Bluestar the courier company. I understood this to mean my delivery was coming the next day, hence I took the day off work to receive my dining table and chairs.

I did not receive an email the following day.so I called the courier company Bluestar and they advised me they could not find the order in their system, but if it was being dispatched by Outdoor Living Direct it is coming from Melbourne, hence it would not be delivered that day. They further advised me I would receive a text message with the delivery details the following weeks. I waited another week with no communication from Outdoor Living or the courier company. I then contacted Outdoor Living Direct who said that they sent me an email with delivery details. I searched my junk folder and my inbox and that email was never received by me.

I advised them of this and received another email which made me feel like they were blaming me.

My issues with this company is the lack of communication. I should have been contacted by them or their courier company to arrange delivery. Its not acceptable that I have to chase for three weeks only to be advised they are not going to do anything to assist me with my order. The customer service does not appear to extend past payment of the goods purchased.

I have requested a refund. I am not sure if I will receive it as they appear to have wiped their hands clean of me.

I purchased this dining table and chairs thinking I had scored a good deal. But it was not worth it. I should have spent a little more money and purchased from a reputable company.

Outdoorliving hopper crossing store need to learn a thing or two about communcations. We put in a order in early Jan. But for some reason a order that was supposed to arrive by the end of Jan we had still not received by march.today we got a refund with the store manager who gave no explanation and only when i said to him your staff need to learn to communicate to which he responded with a very casual "I GUESS" we still have no idea why our ordered did not arrive or what the hold up was but would certainly not bother going back to that store to buy again. If the store manager could not careless why would the staff he managers.best advise is to go else where.

We bought an outdoor set and picked it up the following week. When we went to assemble it there were some washers that were missing. Tried to contact their customer service via fb and was given a generic call the customer line message so we went to Bunnings and bought the missing washers (instead of driving 40 mins back to hoppers). Once assembled we realised furniture was damaged and scratched. Sent an email to customer service and was contacted the next day. Was told someone from the warehouse would contact me. Three days later nobody had contacted me so I rang back and was again told somebody would call me back. Nobody did so Saturday I called again. Was told they would replace the table and one bench but I would have to bring back the table and bench and take the new one. I disputed this because the mistake was not mine I shouldn’t have to disassemble and then deliver back and pick up again another set. I asked why they couldn’t deliver to me and was told this simply was not their policy. The lady Amy who is supposedly the top manager then told me she wasn’t sure why I had assembled it in the first place (because Amy I’m not going to drive 40minutes for some $3 washers). Anyways I was making no headway with Amy and her condescending tone so I asked to speak with a manager and she asked me to call back on Monday). I called on Monday and asked for a partial refund as I had no way of returning to the store to pick up and drop off (I’m six months pregnant and we had asked a friend to help the first time around). They offered me 7% of the full price. At this stage I was so over dealing with Amy and her awful customer service that I just accepted it so I could move on from this. I had thought of buying cushions and a cover for my furniture from them but I wouldn’t go near them ever again! Awful awful customer service and reading the other reviews it sounds like Amy needs to be taught how to talk to customers and not be so rude!

EDIT 30.01.19 so outdoor living have responded to my review. What they have failed to mention is that they only offered to deliver the replacement after they read my review and on the condition that I delete the review. My preference is to keep the review up so future customers know what they are dealing with and make their own mind up.

Great product with great price, but ridiculously bad delivery! I bought a daybed thinking I got a good deal. The delivery guy came to my house, rushed my wife to open the door, and dragged the daybed accross the floor! The daybed's legs are badly damaged and my floor tiles got scratches. Since the damages are not that obvious, I decided not to pursue this further, but seriously, what a way to destroy a good business! They couldn't reach my phone for some reason (phone network fault?) and the store staff forgot to tell me someone has to be at home to help the driver lift the furniture, but that's still no excuse to drag the furniture and be rude like that! My wife is pregnant and the whole experience is very traumatising for her!
