We have dined at both Brighton & South Yarra on many occasions, however, our booking on Tuesday night did not meet expectations. Despite emailing the restaurant and flagging our concerns on Wednesday afternoon, we have not had a response from the owner or manager. At $315 for 3 people, I would have expected a better response and better as we are regular patrons. Service was slow, drink service was slow and food was lukewarm at best. Barramundi dish has been halved without a reduction in price. Very disappointing and worse that no-one has responded to my online query. Not good.

The best Japanese I’ve ever experienced. The set menu and deluxe platter were absolute winners. Loads of food for two. Reasonably priced and BYO. Will be back
