Our Lady of Sion College reviews
7 My children LOVE this school
. From the teachers to the students to the challenging curriculum, Our Lady of Sion integrates compassion into their teaching standards, emphasizes the importance of values, and builds leaders through each of their classes and Lessons.
Teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within our children-their good behaviours and achievements; and they know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner. Highly recommended.
As a mother of a student at the college, I have no words to describe the appalling state of the schools environment. The fact that the vast majority of teachers take notice to uniform over education is deplorable. I cannot fathom what our $10,000 fees have to do with a viable school experience. My child has been harassed, not only for her uniform but also for her mental health issues, which is absolutely disgusting. Teachers that have been accredited with high leadership positions within the campus treat students with zero respect and instead choose to treat them as pawns. Purely objects, with a main purpose to amplify the colleges 'pristine' reputation with knee length dresses and straw hats. Education should forever be the forefront of my child's experience at school, but unfortunately, the 'life lessons' the school supposedly passes down to students revolves around presentation and discrimination. The disrespect, not only my child has received, but I have also encountered, from teachers that are accredited as her 'nurturers' is horrendous. Although the education and work aspect may be prominent, none of that is worth the abuse my child has experienced on a daily basis.
I would never recommend this school.
The education is good but there’s so many racist girls and isn’t much of a diversity there.
Says that presentation is more important that the work. Must decorate with glitter to get the best grade. Shake my head
A ton of 2020 Year 8’s were making fun of students from other schools and their uniforms and laughing at them. So disgraceful and rude.
The worst muffin I’ve ever tasted. I’d rather eat garbage off the the street than this.
This library enabled me to learn and grow as not only a person, but a lover of bass clarinet too! In Sion, I have educated myself on the intricacies and delicacies of clarinet playing, creating and inspirationing. I tell anyone considering visiting this library to go in with an open mind, allow yourself to feel the books and delve into the world in which you desire.sion people are beautiful souls, lost in the wilderness of never ending self-sacrifice.find yourselves within the books and don't let the systematic oppression of modern day depths get to you!
