Oscar Oscar at Doncaster is just amazing. The staff are friendly, professional and the atmosphere is so welcoming. My hair looks fabulous and unique after every single visit! A massive thank you to Ryan for my out of this world rainbow colour, its such a head turner and to Elliott for an incredible as always cut! I can't recommend highly enough!

Fantastic experience and very happy with the results of my hair cut and colour. The staff on site are all lovely and the hairdresser Ryan does absolute wonders with cut/colour! Would highly recommend!

Excellent hair salon. Highly professional. I love the extremely experienced staff and also all the little bits they do that take my experience that extra mile. Have been to various salons over the years, but this is the best I've been to. Well done to the Doncaster team!

This place is horrible. Do not go here unless you want
to be charged an excessive amount for something any hairdresser can do. The first time I went I was charged $140 for a hair cut, which involved a fringe, however, the last time I went which was just for a trim of my hair and a trim of the fringe, they surprised me at the front desk AFTER my hair was done with the invoice of $170 and blamed it on the fact that I had ‘long and thick hair’ even though my hair was just as long and as thick as the previous time and said ‘prices can FlUcTuAtE’. You’ve lost my business for good. Yuck!

Had a hair cut and hair treatment, i loved my hair cut but what really ruined the entire experience was honestly the customer service. I hate to admit there was such "racism" attitude given but I cant deny it happened. Talking "slow english" thinking I was an international? Even asking me if I understand what this type of service was? Then saying my really oily hair was becuase im asian so i should try this product? I even told her already its because I didnt wash it for a few days thats why its like that. Even if I was an international with bad english and not understanding things (which im not, i am born here and a citizen here) there should not have been such attitude given towards any asian. My first and last trip from here to oscar oscar Doncaster. No I am not one of those asian so sensitive about "AsianHate" that is going on but wow did I feel it in this salon? The answer is yes.

Have been going to Oscar Oscar Doncaster for many years now and simply can't go anywhere else! Professionalism, technique and knowledge of current trends is second to none and you always walk out feeling fabulous! Elliott and Sarah are experts in their field, they listen to what you want and your hair reaps the rewards for many weeks afterwards. Highly recommend!

Very impressed with the customer service. Received a call before my appointment that my stylist was runing 30min behind. Really appreciate the notice. Great hair cut and fabulous colour. Very, very happy.

Front desk staff was very arrogant and unwelcoming.
I came just to cut 1 cm of split ends and paid for this 100$. On the website, it says you get your hair washed, shoulder and scalp massage, cut and glamorous blow-dry. Out of this list, lady washed my hair for 30 sec not even making my hair wet enough, chopped off good 5-7 cm of my hair saying it will be better this way even though we have discussed cutting just 1cm! No massage at all happened, no glamorous blow-dry. After cut she took a flat iron to curl it, despite the fact that I said I don’t want it, she still done it. And along the whole process they trying to non stop sell you absolutely every single product they have at the salon. “Get shampoo, get this package, it’s a good price, oh this product you need it, are you sure you have enough products at home” every 2 minutes and they just don’t take “no” for an answer.
Would never recommend.

It's a shame I have to give this salon a 1 star review considering my last review was 5 star however it must be done because of the insulting email I received. I've been coming here for years and was surprised to learn that after booking an appointment, I will receive a call shortly to secure my spot with a $50 deposit? It seems times must be tough considering they can't afford to lose a single appointment. I have rescheduled my appointments on several occasions due to work commitments however I have never done a no show. I recommend whoever this money hungry individual is who has implemented this hilarious idea to perhaps have a long hard think about it because it's not going to do them or the business any favours. I mean, it's bad enough I was getting laughed at by friends and family for paying $120 on a mens haircut but to add to the humiliation, I'm now required to "secure" my spot with a $50 deposit? A manager once told me to choose my crowd and I think Oscar Oscar should do the same. Thanks for the amazing haircuts Elliot but it's time for me to move on. All the best!:)

So glad to be able to go back to Oscar Oscar Doncaster now that restrictions have eased.guaranteed to walk out feeling like a supermodel every time.only salon that I’ve been to that knows how to cut and colour AND provide expert advice and products to keep you looking great between cuts

Absolute rip off of a place. My girlfriend came here to get her hair coloured and was only told of the ridiculous price of $550 after they had already started. She was under the impression it wouldn’t be more than $250. And to make things worse the final outcome was nothing close to what she wanted. We have done a better job ourselves at home in the past.so not only was it a waste of 3 hours but a waste of $500. She will never return here and we will make sure to tell people to stay away unless they want to go without food for a week.

Oscar Oscar Doncaster is a great place to go to for a contemporary hair cut. The staff training is continually updated to the latest techniques and trends. Highly recommend seeing Ryan who is fantastic and really is passionate about his clients. The store staff are very welcoming and friendly. Their equipment is always clean with sharp scissors. Their products knowledge is second to none and they will only recommend products suitable for your hair and scalp needs.

I used to go to Oscar Oscar Doncaster. However on my last visit the lady at the front was absolutely horrible. She refused to let my two year old and husband come to say hi to me and my husband just wanted to ask my hair stylist, how long it would be and she refused him entry as well.

I understand this was during a 20 max capacity during COVID, however, she could have kindly explained that and at least told them politely that she would relay the message or at least let my toddler in to say hi. They just wanted to come in for 30 seconds when my appt.was over an hour long.
I expect better service from a salon. I will def.not be going back. Not family friendly!

I found the front desk incredibly rude. I waited today nearly 15 mins and the guy managing the front desk did not even care/ bother to let me know why I was waiting so long. With customer service that bad. I didnt even want to get my hair done there. Maybe a friendly and nicer front desk (less abnoxious) will help not push customers away. I recommend that if you are going to make someone wait for more than 10 mins. Then at least acknowledge the person and let them know they will be served shortly.

Went to the salon with a fuzzy, curly, very long and extremely thick hair. Sat down to the chair, had a consultation with Ryan, had my hair washed, good cut and blow-dry as well. Ryan is extremely patient, qualified hairdresser, attention to derails, good listener, full of knowledge and did such hard work with my hair which took him around 3 hours and a bit. Strongly recommend Ryan and Oscar Oscar Doncaster.
Prices isn't expensive, friendly staff and very welcoming.

Very disappointing. I brought a picture and walked away with nothing close to what I have asked for. Hair washing consisted of water temperature fluctuating from hot to cold and back again combined with scratching from very powerful long nails.

I’ve amended my review from scathing to neutral, solely because of owner Sarah’s professionalism and determination to improve the disaster caused by Nicky. Steer clear of Nicky and you should be fine.
