Oscar Hunt

I have been aware of Oscar Hunt for the past 10 years, always envisioning it as the tailor I would choose for my wedding suit. As my career and personal aspirations progressed, and with my engagement to the love of my life, the time had finally come to embark on the journey of creating and designing my wedding suit.

My first consultation was with Shayne, and from our initial interaction, I immediately felt at ease. We were able to establish a clear vision for the direction I wanted to take while also developing a collaborative relationship to refine the finer details.

During the first fitting a couple of months later, we seamlessly picked up where we had left off in our discussions. It was crucial for me to create a wedding suit that truly reflected my personality rather than conforming to traditional norms. From the width of the lapel to the shade of cream I had in mind, it was incredible to explore different ideas and refine the design along the way. Eventually, we settled on the perfect fabric and design.

At the second and final fitting, I saw the end result of our collaborative efforts. My initial impressions were met with satisfaction, and when I put on the suit, I felt incredibly comfortable and confident. There were some minor adjustments required to ensure a perfect fit, which is to be expected in such experiences. Shayne even scheduled a follow-up appointment to ensure the adjustments were spot on, which I appreciate as it demonstrates their commitment to excellence.

Looking back, one aspect I truly appreciated about my experience with Oscar Hunt was the invaluable knowledge shared regarding the care and maintenance of my garments post-wedding and for future occasions. The insightful conversations we had taught me a great deal and provided me with the awareness needed to preserve and maintain my suits and shirts in the long run.

On my wedding day, I have never felt more confident and comfortable in my life. The suits brought out a sense of confidence and peace that perfectly complemented what many consider to be the best day of their lives. With that, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Shayne for being instrumental in creating the ideal wedding day through my outfits. I will always cherish the memories from our first consultation to the end of my wedding day.

I eagerly look forward to many more fittings for upcoming occasions in my life.

Oscar Hunt was recommended to me by a close friend and i took that reccomendation it on board.

My advice to anybody going there is to request a consultation with Wei. Extremely knowledgable, well spoken, honest and always makes you feel comfortable.

My experience there was far better than Hugo Boss on Bourke St and i would have no reservations to recommend Oscar Hunt and in particular Wei to any future customers.

Excellent value for money and service that truly exceeded my expectations.

I have never ever had a pair of tailored pants made before, so this was a brand new experience for me and what a wonderful one it was at that. I am so exceptionally happy at the whole experience and blown away by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Big thanks to the wonderful Kares, the amazing receptionist who answered all my silly questions leading up to my first appt to the extent that when i first arrived she was more like my new best friend. My fitter Jeff, was incredible too and I cannot recommend this company enough. Appts were always on time, and a complimentary G and T to start each one was an unexpected and delightful extra. Would most certainly use again.

Like many, I put on a few unwanted kilos over the COVID-19 lockdown period. Several of my suits were rendered useless or too tight to wear comfortably.

I reached out to Oscar Hunt to resize /refit half a dozen Oscar Hunt and other branded suits. The team welcomed the challenge, working with limited fabric to make the suits brand new again.

Every suit fits perfectly and are all worn in regular rotation once again.

The best service possible! The experience I had at Oscar Hunt was top-tier from the beginning of the process to the very end. I had my wedding tuxedo done at Oscar Hunt - Melbourne with the guidance of Wei, as well as all the groomsmen and some family members. Had an awesome experience at Oscar Hunt in Melbourne. I was looked after by Wei and he was very thorough in guiding me through the whole process, from choosing the fabric to customising every single details.

Wei offered the perfect balance between offering his professional opinion and letting you customise your suit to your liking. The end result is amazing too and I can't recommend them highly enough.

I had my reservations about using a made-to-measure business for my wedding suit. I assumed the process would be overwhelming and expensive. However after having gone through the process, I found the end result to be of amazing value and my wedding suit high quality. Geoff and his team are great at what they do and the process is extremely personable. If you're having reservations like I did, don't. It's underrated and my only regret is that I don't go into the office any where near as much as I did pre-covid to justify more trips to Geoff.

What an experience it was to have my wedding suit and groomsmen suits made by Oscar Hunt. A big thank you to Steve who was there at every fitting making sure everything fit perfectly and looked great. We appreciated his professionalism and expertise through this time.
After trying on suits at generic shopping centre suit stores where the jackets weren't sized properly, it was a whole different experience stepping into Oscar Hunt for the first time. A tailor made suit with someone to guide through material selection, lapel selection and all the other bells and whistles. Every part of the journey was enjoyable and nothing beat the tailor made suit on the wedding day.

Steve was fantastic to deal with, friendly and helpful he nailed our suits for Jamie's wedding. No questions were off bounds and nothing was too tricky.
