The YAT receptionist is horrible and unprofessional.i believe her name is “ Olive”. I called regarding a referral and explained to her my last encounter with the service which then she proceeded to invalidate me and give me attitude.she then proceeded to tell me that i wasn’t valid for any type of service there.which i don’t think should be coming from a person who’s job is to sit behind a wooden desk and check people off.i should be getting contacted by a medical professional or case worker to be told that information.she seemed like she knew it all and it was a horrible experience for a young person with mental health issues.you guys should really take a look at who you are hiring because this is probably the reason why no body believes in the health care system.do better.

CAT is a terrible model for truama.
Focuses on relational patterns and stopping self harm but totally ignores felt experience. Wasted two years of my life where my condition calcified due to the innapropriot nature of support and desperate need for appropriate timely treatment

A very welcoming place for those who needs help. Staff and nurses are very caring and do the best they can to comfort patients. Parking is an issue as on-site parking is not for public. Cars can be parked along the street and ticket will need to be purchased. Ticket machine only accepts coins.

I was with them for 2 year, the case manager was unorganised and then it came down that they only wanted to provide services to help me and got angry, made me really uncomfortable when being interrogated by another psychologist. I don't think any of it is necessary.

I had the best experience when I was younger. Thanks to the psy & staff for their great efforts & time. & helping me become a better person. They really do a goodjob when you’re seeking for professional opinion. They will listen to you and help you engage with others with different activities. I would recommend to anyone who is struggling to come out their shell with them. Thank you again doctor Jasmine.

Excellent service, although my case managers / doctors changed a lot. Tried to help me when I was at my darkest hour. Thanks Orygen!

The best inpatient mental health service for young people in Melbourne. They have access to a range of different services such as psychiatrists, social workers, and general practitioners. It's not often you'll get a place where you have almost daily contact with a doctor. Communication among staff is generally really strong.

Typically, don't expect anything better here. The name Orygen is an appalling service out there to totally manipulate clients to believe they are looked after but in fact made to further deteriorate, under their instruction.
Then to be given immediate diagnosis within half an hr with the dr, a bit creepy I would say.
