Ordered an item which was displayed as “ships in 2-4 days”. I was then advised was "Not in stock" and not going to be in stock. This is all after I have handed over my hard earned money.

They are clearly just a drop ship website who pass on orders to actual suppliers. Steer clear from these bell ends as their response to customers being frustrated with their inaccurate stock levels is to block customers accounts, thanks a lot Gareth Arnot. I hope you are nice and warm back in your safe space of gentle words and unfathomable soft language.

3 Day delivery guarantee for in stock items. After 5 days called to check, item on backorder (not in stock) asked for a refund and was told this was ok. 4 weeks later received the item with no refund. Useless:/

Excellent customer service. Gareth went out of his way to assist me, called me personally and followed up on my enquiry really well. And their price was the best around. I highly recommend these guys.

I ordered a Hakko FX888D soldering system late yesterday, and it was delivered early this morning! Years ago I purchased a Swedish Lindstrom side cutter that has given excellent service. My impression of this firm is that they stock and sell quality products.

I had a an issues with the delivery of an item I purchased. But one of the members of Oritech, Neil. Rectified the issue and made the best of the situation.

Store looks great and when I called the customer support was ok. I love support local Australian stores.

I bought a Hakko FM-203 unit, however unit doesn't even come with a tip.

I would be good if they mention it somewhere on the item in large bold writing that the tip is not included as standard to prevent customers having then to buy tips in a seperate purchase and another lot of shipping costs.

Exceptional service. My item was not in stock, and the distributor had not sent item to Oritech. However they still bent over backwards and did what they could to find out what was happening and resolve the delay. Price was cheaper than anywhere else too. Once Oritech had stock, it only took 2 days to get here. Would highly recommend

Terrible customer service. Finally received my order 6 weeks after having placed it. Oritechs' idea of customer service is giving your their couriers tracking number and then wiping their hands clean. When my item finally arrived (after I contacted the courier company myself) the box had been opened and the packaging torn.

Fast shipping. My Hakko arrived in perfect condition, very safely packed - and goes without saying, but a genuine product of course!
