Original Rooster Charcoal Chicken

This place tops any cooked chicken I've bought; it's cooked and still moist & tasty. The scallop potato was divine, the tasty crunchy cheese top was yummo.

Had great meal tonight. Pork rolls with apple sauce and gravy. Fresh, hot chips Delicious. Support small, local businesses

Friendly staff and excellent service, sadly though the 3 times I have had the chicken it's been very dry and not the best.

Great food and services but sadly no air conditioning at the front of the store for the poor staff working the fryers.
It's 37+ degrees outside today and there shop is hotter than outside! Cannot be legal or following fair work Australia at all.
Very sad. Very dangerous.

Definitely a chicken restaurant ordered a chicken and lamb souvlaki only came with lamb that was warm at best with no flavour no chicken to be seen and an absurd amount of watery sauce.

Been coming here since the 1980s. Best chicken skin and chips I've ever had anywhere in the world. No wonder they're still going!

The Girls here are so Nice, and The Chicken deals are amazing, I highly recommend You try the Scallop Potato… it’s My Family’s Favourite, we’ve been coming here for the last 5 Year’s and It’s always been amazing Tasty Food.

Very impressed with their care and hygiene. They are the only shop I've seen that clean the Eftpos machine with an antibacterial wipe. Well done. Unlike some that are disgusting and dirty.

I enjoyed dipping my fingers in that greacy chicken it was not finger licking good but it was still creamy mayonase mayonase is made from chicken dust i like shreck the musical.i want the mcareena to come back i love this chicken

Has some of the best tasting Crispy Chicken in the area. The chicken salt they use on their chips actually has the most charcoal chicken-like flavour I've ever had, compared to other places I've been. This shop is also very popular with the locals. Solid 5/5.

I'll be honest, this place is legit average. It's neither fantastic nor craptastic, it's just a chicken shop with tasty chips, nice chicken and "meh" everything else. Ok the gravy is pretty terrible, but I think a local would come here more than once. It's alright. Really it is. Solid 3 stars.

Awsome chips, love the salt on them however the chicken is the driest i think have eaten it reminds me of the sahara

Really dissapointing tried this place twice and both times the chips were overcooked! Just not how you want your chips to be, I said when I ordered I didn't want them crunchy and what I got was overdone crunchy chips! I work in hospitality and when this happens it means this place is being lazy and not changing their fryer oil enough. Also the staff there lack people and customer service skills almost like they really don't care. I really wouldn't recommend this place!

Walked in and ordered 3 whole chickens, 3 large chips and a large eggs salad. The chickens were already cooked and the egg salad already prepared that was fine but I then had to wait 30 minutes or more for the chips to cook. However the food was nice despite the wait.

Whilst it may be a little difficult to find - it’s near Aldis behind the servo, this is a great little business with a great range of take away chooks and meals

I love this Takeaway shop for the beautiful atmosphere and fantastic service. The food is cooked to perfection and you've got a great menu to choose from but it's all delicious food.

Classic charcoal chicken. Very clean shop. Food always fresh and cooked to perfection. I'm sure it's the Owner who works in the shop as she takes great pride in providing great food. We drive from Trafalgar for her food. Don't go anywhere else.
