Orbost Visitor Information Centre reviews
14Very nice and super helpful lady in the info centre. Love that the old hut is being used as the info centre.
Well organized, a nice variety of local crafts, an exceptional art exhibition and friendly and helpful staff - it was a pleasure.
Lovely staff, very helpful and knowledgeable. I very much appreciate your help, thank you!
The old Slab hut is great place to get information about Orbost and nearby places. Super helpful person at the Visitor centre.
Called in here while camping in nearby Marlo. The slab house Information center is a great stop, filled with historical items, staffed by helpful knowledgeable staff, and Adkins an amazing gallery of local and indigenous artworks.
Definitely visit the historical log “Slab Hut” for a guide on appreciating the area’s scenery and personality.
Orbost is surrounded by trails for cycling and walking. Rivers and ocean are perfect for kayaking, fishing, swimming.
The local volunteers at the Slab Hut are friendly and informative. Historic water wheel, murals, playground and a walk to the snowy river.
This is second time I visited Marlo, it is so beautiful! The costal walk is simply wonderful! Will visit again.
During our 3 day stay in Orbost we visited the info centre twice. Melissa and Marie were very helpful and informative. Great ambassadors for your beautiful town! Thank you
Great old building (I think old), wonderfully helpful volunter, gave me lots of info. Had a great chat, as well.
Orbust is a beaut town with everything a Traveller requires. I bought gas and toilet products at the hardware, Groceries at the Supermarket, had great coffee at the Neighbourhood house as well as Xmas lunch, great service from the Auto elects and Voss mechanical.
Yes travellers that free camp do bring money Into town and I'm a Greeny to boot.
Very informative and a great place to view the local history. Geese live here. Check out their home while here.
Heather the volunteer was sensational. Great conversation and advice on our onward trip to Eden.
One of the better information centres in Victoria. The staff were very helpful and there are plenty of postcards and souvenirs. The log cabin atmosphere adds to the experience. Parking is not a problem and easy to find.
Exactly what you'd expect from a visitor information centre. The staff were friendly and helpful.
