31 21 dec 2020. Walked in to discuss my expired contracts for wife and myself. Was promptly greeted by the lady host and directed to seat on the yellow chairs to be spoken to "shortly"
A 10 minutes later and not a single acknowledgement I walked out. The whole time the host had her head down facing her phone, oblivious to the fact that optus just lost two existing customers. The whole time there was only one other customer in the shop. Poor form guys.
Just to let you know that your staff member speaks mandarins in a very rude and impatience way from the first word I spoke to him. As if I were there looking for trouble in stead of help. Put me on the phone and let me figure it out myself. I don’t know whether it only happens on him or all your staff member only treat customers nice when trying to convince them to upgrade their plan. Now I can relate the customer who was arguing in your store when I came a week earlier. Poor customer service, maybe state “call 131 344 because there is nothing we can do for you here”at your front door so they don’t get bothered.

I’ve preordered iphone12promax staff inform that will be delivered last Friday. But now we have been waiting for 6 days! I came to optus ask for help. But staff do nothing he refused to help us with rude body language! Very disappointed. This is the last time that I will pay for optus.
Top service from staff, friendly and know their stuff. I travel from Shepparton to Melbourne because my local Optus store socks.
I was looking for home internet connection information with Optus, the staff keep recommanded me 5G internet and said everyone is applying 5G internet. I just want to know the detail information for internet connection services but he keep comparing to Telstra home internet price and commend he is cheaper. He was keep saying what else information do I want to know, and asking whether Optus survices are not good enough. The tone he was using is irritable, sounds like he want me to sign with them now so he can finish talking. Finally I left tactfully.
I‘m super disappointed with Optus internet connection service. I don't think this is actual 4G data speed but sometimes even worse than 3G I used six years ago. More than often it takes almost 10 seconds to just upload a screen shot picture to the other side,especially recently I could barely watch videos for 480P and even 360P take time to buffer because the internet data speed lagging too seriously. I live in City,I wonder whether my life will go back to the beginning of the 21th century if I live in remote suburbs.
Actually I was at Vodafone Bourke St, cnr Elizabeth and the service as per usual was top notch, just b4 you enter the shop, there are like 4 people including security, that's Abit confronting? Apart from that, Brilliant. I give it 5 stars.wow. Chris.k
Paid $40 recharge but stop working after 19 days so I when to optus store they said they can't help me. Very disappointed I am changing my sim

Optus you are a joke! I was told by your online customer service team to go instore and they can help me. Yet that was not the case at this store.
I've had so many issues with my phone & plan. So bad that you sent me the wrong device. Changed my number without my concent? Charged me for my old phone. And changed my plan to a phone i did not agree to? I contacted you online and in store (2 stores) many times. Yet no one wants to help. Its now over 3 months later? I've given up. You've lost a customer. Your customer service is unacceptable. You cannot blame this on the covid-19 pandemic because I did this in February. Telstra is so much better. Thanks for nothing.
Went in to specifically to purchase a cheap mobile broadband dongle, the saleswoman kept trying to upsell/cross sell to me despite repeatedly telling her I wasn't interested and I just wanted to buy the dongle. After wasting nearly 10 minutes trying to get an account up and running, told me that no USB dongles were in stock and then tried to again, upsell me to a more expensive wireless one.
Very disrespectful, complete waste of time.
