Went into this store today with thousands of dollars to buy a S23 ultra. They did not have it in stock, I then said I will pay for it in full now and please phone me when it arrives, they then used their very famous slogan No, no, no. Wow. Yes give this place a bit miss, after all the recent issues they have caused you would think that their attitude would be better towards anyone trying to give them money. Just walk past this place and keep walking.

Staff at this store were extremely helpful with recent phone issues I had. Julian was a great help, and the other staff on were all so cheerful & the aura in the store was so positive. I've been to other Optus stores & the service was below average. I'll always opt for this store from now on.

The worst customer service. Mum wanted to cancel her mobile, she has dementia and hasn't used her phone in 2 years. After ringing to cancel we're told mum had to go in store so they could sight her. OK so took her out of nursing home and went in no help whatsoever. Mum has never driven so no photo Id though she had a keypass one they no longer accept. The manager Suzanna had no emphy at all even when Mum who was upset said what does she have die first, mangers answer was dismissive and said have a nice day.
After ringing loyalty at optus and speaking to lovely man he said she could've and should've helped more and could accept the card and other cards she had, seniors and pension card.
Optus take note not everyone has a passport or photo id. The actual airport West store has alot of complaints maybe new staff and teach empathy.

Worst customer service ever. I've got scammed in there. I wanted the AirPods pro 2nd Generation but they Gave me the 1st gen. There is no way someone will buy the 1st gen instead of the 2nd generation when the price is same. They can't sell the first gen airpods pro, that's why they give those to the people without letting them know. When I went for an exchange they directly rejected me and showed me the reason that It's been opened. That's their fault that they gave it to the customer as a scam, even they Didn't apologise for this.

Just purchased a iPhone 14plus, thanks to Daniel and Megan. Took over night for the process to go through. I highly recommend those who are Vodafone or are with other services, thanks to Megan for helping us move over with no extra hassle. Received a call the next day to pick up my phone. Thank you for the smooth process, especially because my wife’s pregnant with little patience she was happy with the results. Thanks to Daniel for helping to finalise the process. Churrr

I know it’s difficult to get staff but sometimes the ones you have damage the brand and business more than having people wait a little longer. In the meantime train your team to focus on the customer and not have side conversations with each other while dealing with a customer. This way you are less likely to make simple mistakes. The team you have come off as dodgy car salesmen rather than listening and applying the best product. Finally I do not want to be addressed as “bro”

I went today in airport west shopping centre. I got really very bad customer service from assistant manager of the store named Mark. I am with Optus from last 3 years and I am facing problem with network in my area I said to him Optus network is not working good in my area he said ok your choice you can move. Really very disappointed service. He behaves very rude instead give me solutions he offer me to quit the company. Highly not recommended.

Poor customer service, didn't seem interested in working to find a solution to my problem. Ignored me initially then told me to wait to speak to someone for no apparent reason.

Horrible customer service. Misleading the customer, they gave us the wrong phone and never stated the phone they were giving me while reading the contract. When I went back into the store the manager accused me of damaging the phone despite the fact that it had only been taken out of the box once only for a few minutes until we realised it was the wrong phone and was put straight back in and not touched again so it was in perfect condition.
If you need to go to an Optus store than you’re better off anywhere other than here.

Absolutely wonderful service, all staff so friendly and helpful, in particular Mel and Mark. Efficiently did exactly what we asked for and we walked out very happy customers.

Disgusting customer service from a short boy, they need to hire adults and not children and train them properly. Horrible place to walk into.

Really poor customer service - staff acted like it was such a bother to answer my questions when I was purchasing my new phone. I’ve been with Optus for about 12 years and multiple different Optus stores and never been treated so rudely by sales staff.

Very poor customer service. I was shouted at for standing in the doorway trying to get their attention. 5 workers sitting down the back of the store having a chat.
When I explained that my son's account is under my husband's name the service person rolled his eyes.
My issue was not resolved so we will be going to a different store tomorrow.

I've always avoided this store as it has always had bad customer service, just young kids who have not been trained well, they're clueless and rude. Due to COVID restraints I had to go into the store to get the latest iPhone13. I didn't know there were 4 different models, nor were these options presented to me. I asked for the new iPhone13, they gave me the iPhone13 standard as I've found out, and it's not what I wanted. I wanted the Pro Max, but I did not know this either. This is why we have, 'CUSTOMER SERVICE', to help us make INFORMED DECISIONS! Just save yourself the time and go elsewhere, because now I'm stuck with a phone I don't want and they said it was my own bad luck. Good service. The fact that I was unaware of the fact there were different models is my own fault they said. It's not Optus's policy to inform you of such apparently. I've been with Optus forever but now I'll be wiping my hands with them. Go Vodafone

They were very friendly and obliging in helping to attend to my new phone purchase, especially the transfer of the Sims card and stored credits. All good considering the staff are under a lot of pressure these days, with the no entry into the store requirements of our Victorian Lockdown.
