I generally only review if the experience was strikingly good or bad. My experience with Optimind was outstanding. The staff were caring, professional and thorough. I felt they dealt with me as a person and not just a task. Dr Asiri Rodrigo was remarkable. In a short time he showed that he really understood who I am and the program of action he put in place has literally been life changing. What a caring and gifted man he is. I enjoyed the lovely quiet sense of humour that he displays at times. There was a bit of a wait to get an appointment but it so was worth it.

I cannot fault the level of care I received from my practitioner and the majority of admin staff have been mostly pleasant. However, my dealings with Michelle who I can only assume is related to their accounts department has been nothing but appalling. I’ve been threatened with legal action and debt collection over an outstanding account which I had arranged directly with my practitioner. My practitioner was unaware of the threats made against me and has since apologised on behalf of the practice. Michelle should have a better understanding of the nature of the patients she’s dealing with and a little empathy wouldn’t hurt either!

Worst experience, I could hear them talking about patients and their Problems from in the waiting area, then it cost me $450 dollars for a 15 minute appointment which I was asked nothing about my problems, just asked what meds i use and increased one of them.when I asked for work cover to pay, because the doctor i saw said it was okay, the front staff and manager they argued and fought with me and threatened have debt collectors and bad credit report then blacklisted me from returning, one of my problems is leaving the house, so it was really difficult for me to attend my appointment and i was treated so poorly, it really messed up my head even more, and has made things worse for me

I feel worse after the appt. The receptionists are lovely however I didn’t have the greatest exp with the psychiatrist. Felt super fake, incredibly dismissive and would make weird faces at me as I spoke. I spent 700 bux just to open my self up and then be dismissed. Not to mention I had to take time off work for the appt and they were running almost 30 mins late:/

Very bad. You send them a referral and they never bother getting back to you. You then try to follow up and find out why you haven’t heard from them, and they still don’t get back to you. To me, this shows how much they care about people. I’d suggest going elsewhere

Lovely team, reception staff are amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Dr Sharma is amazing and went above and beyond to accomodate my needs.

There is no information retention within the administration department at this clinic, it almost seems as if they delete any email they receive. They demand payments from me personally despite the fact I went through the process to setup my payments through my families TAC claim (using their own form mind you!). They "lost access" to those files apparently and the person originally setting me up "forgot to do the TAC payment portal".

I have personally had a case worker from a Victims assistance programs aiding me in this.yet OPTIMIND also "lost" her email. My case worker has gone so far as to organise extra funds from her own program to get this payed quick so this can all end because theyre doggedly pursuing me with phone calls!

THEY CALLED ME 5 MONTHS LATER DEMANDING PAYMENT FOR TWO CONSULTS THAT HAD BEEN PAYED. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR OPTIMIND. THEY HAD LOST ALL EMAIL CORRESPONDENCES ONCE AGAIN.

Super friendly receptionist staff! The psychiatrist I saw made me feel in control by allowing me options and asking my opinion on different things that effect me. I have never had that experience before!

Not all that good but I have never had a good experience with psychiatrists they treat you like it's your fault you have a mental illness.

The psychiatrist was genuinely excited when i said i was feelin better, and the receptionist tried to move mountains for me to get a script over the phone whils i had covid. Absolutely A grade Dr and receptionist.

The psychiatrist at this clinic does not do his job properly. The admin side of the company are just as bad not taking responsibility for their mistakes. They basically treat people with mental health issues as a number to make money out of them. Shame on you.
