There's nothing more that could be done to make buying 2 new sets of glasses so professional, efficient and easy.
Maybe a cup of coffee made as well as the service OPSM provide would put the icing on the cake.
A pleasure purchasing from OPSM Ballarat and please thank Emily for her help.

Fantastic care and professionalism. Can't recommend any more highly. Staff were so kind and considerate. The optician was incredibly thorough and ultra personable. Their range of frames were also extensive, as was their knowledge of insurance plans. Excellent service all round.

Always helpful & friendly. Staff make sure customers & fully informed & totally understand procedures & treatment. Of course they want to sell glasses but no push for sales & no unwanted sales talk. Also shop has just been refurbished & looks lovely. Welcoming & smart. Over all a very professional business.

Worst experience i’ve ever had here. Arrived for a 12pm appointment only to find out we had to wait an extra 40 minutes because the appointment was changed day to 12: 20 because optometrist was running late. I would have been more understanding if I was given at least some notice.

I was relieved that the staff were wearing their masks correctly, with the optometrist wearing a P2. That's the only reason they get 2 stars. But she rushed through the exam and I don't believe the letters and dots ever became completely clear like they normally do so I have nil confidence in the prescription as a result. Yeah I know. I should have immediately gone "What? That part of it is over? All I did was compare different levels of slight blur without it ever getting really clear. " She was quick to recommend multifocals and when I tried to ask questions about them she laughed saying I was in denial about being over 40 and needing glasses for reading too now not just distance. Nope. That's why I was there. I wasn't in denial about anything. I just wanted to know more about the product she was recommending to me because I'd never heard of it before. As it turns out, I don't think they would suit my needs. 600km drives to Adelaide need proper distance glasses, not multifocals. Multifocals also wouldn't be very helpful when editing photos on a huge screen if I have to reposition my neck to suit my glasses to see the edges clearly. And it's hard enough to look through most camera viewfinders with glasses as it is, without adding more complexity to it. I have no problem with owning different glasses for different purposes. And that's for me to decide, not her. Laughing at someone and saying they are in denial about their eyes getting older just because they want to understand more about multifocals is ridiculous.

Thanks to Paul Bobik’s knowledge and expertise he found my retinal detachment and put into place the series of events that saved my sight in my eye. Very impressed.

Skilled, professional staff who were kind and thoughtful. Natalie provided a thorough and accurate assessment of my eyes and gave useful information and resources to assist with potential eye conditions. Emily assisted me intelligently and knowledgeably to choose glasses which suited my face and coloring. The new glasses look great. Having the two staff consistently across visits was also really terrific, as I did not have to "retell my story" - they were right onto it:) Jan

So far one of the worst customer experience I have had instore and with the customer care team. Glasses are now over 2 weeks late and no one has even bothered to call to let me know, and when I have called I have been given 2 different stories. Wish I’d gone to specsavers.
