Good lunch meal spoilt by slack serving staff.
Served roast pork with mint sauce then she laughed it off after she collected the plates. Forgot our dessert for 20 minutes after taking away the mains plates. I had to wave a table napkin to get the attention of the staff (the chef saw it first) no apologies just slack service from staff who have become very complacent. They also forgot to put the desserts up on the menu board until I asked if there were desserts today.
Won’t be back because basically there is no service and they have a take it or leave it attitude.

Great place for gaming or eating or both. Open long hours which is handy if you're travelling past from or to Melbourne at weird hours

Amazing food.seriously! It was 13 for a the best bangers and mash that my son never eats usually but demolished his plate. I'm shattered I live in Melbourne as I've just had the best meal in years! Thank you to the chef! It's worth the 2hr drive!

I dont get people who first of all go to this place for a meal and second complain online about it when really you have plenty of other options the main town where there are heaps of places to have a meal that you will for sure enjoy more than eating here are about an 8 minute drive down the road but even if you couldn't be bothered with that theres legit fast food places across the road from oppys your the one who saw the pokies and decided hey ill stop here for a bite too knowing this place outside looks like a dive surely the food is as disappointing or more so all im saying is you deserve your disappointing experience here for expecting better from a place with the word bistro in the name

The actual venue looks run down but if you are after friendly service, excellent food at an affordable price than this is the place. Every meal that I have eaten there has been faultless. Fresh not frozen mushy vegetables, meat properly cooked - a hidden gem! The complementary fresh roll and butter is a nice added touch.

Meal was average. Not very enjoyable atmosphere. Table don't feel very clean. Very noisy and children running ‍️ around. Wouldn't go back.

Went for Sunday lunch. Good prices and serves were generous. Drinks normal prices. Great for quick stopover. Staff were pleasant.

Absolutely disgraceful meals all came out cold staff weren’t happy when approached about it, never ever again will we eat here

Oppys is a hit and a miss. It's extremely casual and don't feel the need to dress up. The meals are so unpredictable it's like your having a pull on the slots. Sometimes you get an amazing steak and other times like tonight you wait an hour and it's from a microwave.
The old woman taking orders is very tired and has an attitude not the person you want as the face of your buisness.
I don't know why we come back here but after tonight we probably won't.

Decent meal. Cooked to my liking (scotch fillet). Enough garlic butter and roasted veg was good too.

Oppirs has a brilliant atmosphere, with affordable pricing. The menu offers a wide selection and the seafood platter for two which came to a table close to us, was a spectical of envy. Our steak was cooked very well, to our various desired ways. The parmi was huge and, by reports, delicious. The drinks were regular prices and the pokies were a great way to end the night. We lost a bit but won a little as well. Great place to eat out (book in advance and bring your vaccination certificate). We will be repeat customers.

Staff were lovely and accomodating of dietary requirements when making changes to meals, but ultimately I can't recommend this place for dining. The steak was one-third gristle and the sauce wasn't edible. If it was cheap this would be ok, but it was top-dollar price. You could get far better at a better restaurant for the same amount of money.

We found the food average and table we sat at, not feeling clean very sticky. It has been many years since we had been there, I wouldn't rush back

Meals were lovely, desperately needs a refurbishment, tables felt sticky. Not very inviting at all.

Refused entry by security guard #152 and the Saturday night manager as I did not have a mask on. I have a medical exemption, they asked for a doctors certificate which is against the law for them to ask as against private policy. I showed them DHHS and they said they don’t make the law, Daniel Andrews does. Absolute joke of a place and I’ll be taking this to court.

Opps is a bit off a hit and miss for me, been coming over the years and something ate good and somethings are ok.
On this occasion we ordered a beef burger and a chicken burger.
When you can't make a burger, there is something really wrong.
The beef patty was just minced meat no herbs or spices no flavour and salad, they where big.
The chicken patty was bit into and left, it was oily and fatty and no flavour
I can and have made better.

Shocking meals, very outdated dining area as it has been the same for almost 20 years with no change. No eftpos machine at the bar which is an inconvenience for the times that we live in.

Chicken was hard as a rock, steak was overcooked. Flatbread was not even flat head not to mention ma8n meals where the size of kids meals. Definitely won't be back here again
