We had our baby shower at Onyx cafe and it was a great experience. Kaz and Norm were amazing from the start, nothing was a hassle and we can’t recommend them enough.

Modern and open interior, variety of food + drink, warm and welcoming customer service, will happily return!

Very friendly service, delicious food, fair prices. Got a massive chicken schnitzel roll with a medium coffee just for $13.50. Highly recommend

I was working at place doing solar panels down the road came in for a sausage roll and a drink and the the staff treated me extremely nice and were helpful highly recommended

I spent 3 minutes max in this cafe and I could say they have the friendliest staff. I got a take away iced coffee and after I paid for my drink the gentleman who served me gave me a bottle of cold water for free since it was a very hot day in Melbourne. I will not forget this gesture and will definitely come back to try their food.

Came here with a friend for lunch. The owner is very professional and friendly and has been in hospo for a long time. Previously he owned Giorgio's in Armadale. There is a large menu and the food is good. We had gyoza, risotto and salad. I also got a fair bit of takeaway. I think for the location and demographic of the area it is overly priced. But service and food was nice.

I've been visiting Onyx for the last few years and have had a pleasant experience everytime! Whether I'm there for a takeaway coffee, lunch or work gathering, I'm always welcomed and extremely well looked after. The food is delicious, well priced, and all the staff are gems. I was slightly devastated when my office moved away from Cheltenham and Onyx want my local anymore! Always visit if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed

I stopped by here for some lunch for the first time today.
The customer service could do with a bit of work, I prefer to be looked at when spoken to, instead of playing with their phone.

The first item on the menu certainly got my interest. The chicken pesto sandwich with sour dough bread.
Although not much chicken at all it was quite tasty and enjoyable. The bread was toasted perfectly.
The chips that came with it were ok.

Priced a tad high for the overall product, but not excessively over priced.

I had a fantastic experience at this Cafe. The service was excellent. The people friendly and welcoming and they were generous and helpful to the child that was with us.
They gave her a free drink and chuppa chup.the premises are delightful and I will go out of my way to support this local business

You won't find a friendlier owner than Norm. I am a local here, have consistently put in my ideas on improvement for food where need be. Norm has always taken everything on-board, never a problem. I wouldn't be able to count on one hand how many free bottles of water he has given me also. If you want genuine service where the owner knows your name, this is where you come.

Just came in for a coffee. Ended getting a bacon and egg Turkish roll. Best decision of my life. Friendly staff, great food. The boss even stopped me in my tracks to give me a bottle of water. 10/10 would co e again.
