In a word, authenticity. No hiding behind pretence or trying to conform to the esthetic norms that are repeated over and over again that make the average bakehouse cafe a boring, transactional experience. Contrary to the templated model, Oneg is original in every conceivable perspective. If you value warm customer service and food that is substance driven as opposed to esthetically driven - then make this your choice of the day. My recommendation is the Tel Aviv Pizza and the Artisanal homemade style falafel.

The food is nice. I enjoyed the taste of the pizzas and the pocket. Coffee is pretty good too and so was the cupcake. Friendly owner.

I got Oneg Pizza take away and it is by far one of the best Kosher pizza shops in Melbourne. Very nice overall and great place to get kosher food to share with other people.

I have eaten a lot of falafels and this was the best falafel I have ever had, seriously amazing. Pida pockets were so fresh and soft. The owner is a great.

Lovely spot for brunch or a snack - the sambusaks are super tasty and a favourite of mine is to get some of the refrigerated goods like the egg salad and stuff it in the pastry when I get home! I wish they did their bigger sized Bureks still but everything else will suffice! Friendly staff on most days!
