Amazing food, at a very reasonable price! The staff were incredibly friendly, talked us through any dishes we were curious about, and the food came quickly.

Great Place to have dinner. Staff are very engaging and more importantly food is of best quality & taste. Even more interesting fact is each time I’ve eaten food at one8 their consistency in delivery quality food with very unique and authentic taste is something that makes me go again and again. We had our work party here with more than 40 people and it was fantastic! The food was delicious and there was plenty of it for everyone! A couple of free extra dishes were also very generously provided for everyone too. The staff were very friendly. We were also able to have a fun dance party after dinner. Everyone had a great night!

Although our entrees were cold due to Uber delivery, this is the best vegetarian Indian dish I've had in a long time (paneer butter masala). My fiance loved his Lamb Korma too and the Roti and Naan were brilliant (not too oily).
Next time, we'll try eating in as it's legit the best Indian. We Googled reviews before we ordered (to find the best local Indian being new to the area) and this One8 did not disappoint.

Always searching for an authentic South Asian culinary experience and this restaurant certainly did not disappoint. Tandoori special, chicken 65, lamb kadhai, dum biryani, and naan were all delicious and reminded me of home cooking. Will definitely be back.

It was such a nice experience, the guy served us was very polite and mannered. Decent food and environment.
I’ll definitely love to visit there someday soon.

Nice ambience and entrees are awesome. I had achari chicken tikka, nawabi seekh kabab. The kebab and tikka was juicy and tasted good. It's a must try.
Then we had chicken dum biryani with raita and lamb khorma. It was okay, the khorma was a bit too sweet for me, but my wife loved it. So I guess it's up to individual taste.
There was only one guy to take orders and serve and everytime I had to go to the counter to order.
Downside is the parking spots. Get in early or try to find some parking in the streets and walk to the restaurant
Overall it is a good restaurant and good food.

We recently dined at an authentic Indian restaurant and tried their Tawa chicken, Paneer lababdar, and Rajasthani bhuni goat. While each dish had its own distinct flavor and was tasty, I found them to be a bit dry. Perhaps ordering something in curry would have been a better choice to add more moisture to the dishes. The naan bread, although slightly soft and lacking a bit of garlic and butter, was freshly made and enjoyable.

On the service front, the owner (Faizan, If I remember the name correctly) was extremely courteous, welcoming, and humble. I believe he has the potential to make a big name for himself in the coming years.

Overall, I would recommend this restaurant and intend to visit again in the near future.

We went with 15 people for the very 1st time as recommended by a colleague.
Food: We ordered Chilli Paneer, Chilli Gobi and Paneer Tikka. Both Gobi and Paneet was very good and crispy. Mango Lassi was ok. Mains we had Chef Special Dal, Paneer, Okra, Eggplant as recommended by the owner and chef. Dal was highlight.
We would go back again for the crispy gobi and chilly Paneer.

The food was delicious! Despite being busy, they gave great service. They gave my mom a cake to celebrate mothers day, it was kind gesture

Lovely ambience and decor. Been there for couple of times now. Every time been welcomed warmly and CS is good. So far whatever we tried was delicious. I think it is going to be our go to Indian restaurant.

If the waiter turns his attitude down a notch, and treats customers with respect it would have been a great experience. The food was great but the service blew it. The guy acted like he owned the place and also had the audacity to upsell us by offering discounts in some club, hope the owner knows about this.

So when was the last time you had a really nice Indian food at a restaurant? If I ask you this question, I am sure you might take some time to think about it, as this days the Indian restaurant’s are too many but the quality ones are rare. I am very happy and proud to say that today we had an absolutely wonderful experience at One8 restaurant in Ashwood.

To be honest, before I came here, I just saw their 4.9 reviews which drew my attention.

Restaurant Presentation: 10/10

The restaurant is not a big place but still they manage to get a decent seating. Decor is nice and the place is lively.

Food & Drinks: 10/10

For entree we ordered Tandoori Paneer Tikka, Mango Lassi, Masala Chhas, Papadums, Mint Chutney.

Tandoori Paneer Tikka: This was one of the nicest Paneer tikka we had in a long time. The paneer was really soft and perfectly marinated with spices.

Mango Lassi: The mango lassi was finished for the day and the owner could have asked us to order something else. But, to our surprise, he made it fresh. Impressed with your service Faizal (Owner).

Masala Chhas: We would have loved more thinner but still it was delicious.

Mint Chutney: You need to try this, perfectly blended and goes well with paneer and papadums.

For mains we ordered Kadhai Paneer, Garlic Naan and Garlic Roti.

Kadhai Paneer: Very few restaurants make this dish tasty. When we had the first bite, we knew it was another level. Later we knew that the Co-owner is an Ex-Sous Chef from Taj.

Garlic Naan and Garlic Roti were really soft and went really well with the curry.

Special shout out to Superstar Faizal who looks after the Front of House. You just cannot ignore this guy, full of energy, customer service of the highest quality and really friendly.

All in all, we had a great experience and I want to recommend them to everyone who are craving for a good food experience. Great job guys, well done and keep it up:)

Food and service is fantastic. Our server was very attentive to us and funny. Flavours on the mark. We had butter chicken and dal tadka. Our table and restaurant was clean. Nice decor, music and vibes. Thanks for having us.

I could taste each dish was unique, unlike most other Indians restaurants you get the same blanket salty taste on all dishes. Vege dishes I especially liked being able to see and taste the eggplant and cauliflower individually. The restaurant is very clean which is something I prefer for a group dining where you can sit comfortably chat and enjoy your meal. Service is very friendly and cheerful.

We had butter chiken and pneer lababdar. Food was delicious and yummy. Despite being busy they gave great service, great food and caring staff.would like to go there again and again.

Love the fried rice and chilli Gobi from here. My usual order. All though at times the Gobi can have some rather hard to chew bits (over fried?)
The crispy honey chilli potatoes were disappointing as they were just basically potato fries coated the sauces.
The chicken 65 was ok this could have used more of a kick in terms of flavour and spice imo.

We had family dinner here and we will recommend this restaurant to all. Ambiance was good so as food whatever we ordered was spot on.
