One Noodle Friendship

Its up to every individual but I find their vegetarian dumpling good. Have not tried the meat ones but they do it all fresh and handmade. I usually buy their frozen dumpling to steam it at home. Don't expect first class service/ atmosphere please, they are just local Chinese doing what they can and they don't fully understand English which should be understandable. Fresh and plain is better than frozen with additives.

No offence but how is this “Authentic Lanzhou Noddle”? I’m not a Lanzhounese but after having the noodle here I want to tear this place down on their behalf… JK lol!
Anyway after eating from the neighbouring Noodle Kingdom we though “there can’t be any beef noodle worse than that” but ughhh, there you go. ; (

I ordered the pan fried pork dumpling for pick-up. I called the restaurant to put my order through, and the person at the other end was polite, answered my question and put my order through quickly. Though for a moment I was worried, because they didn't take my name, but I figured no one orders through the phone often. When I got there only needed to wait for three minutes for my dumplings to be done.

The dumplings itself was very delicious and freshly cooked, can't get any better than that. I like their aluminum takeaway, made the dumplings fresher longer.

The service was great. When I walked someone greeted me and when I said I was picking my food, they already knew what order I had. Friendly staff and hard working.

Been coming here for years. Fast, fresh, friendly. No frills but great dumplings and handmade noodles

I've never been to China, but this shop is exactly what I would expect. Hand made dumplings and noodles. Freshly cooked. Delicious.

Delicious wantons, and the chilli oil is yum too. Pretty quick service, highly recommend the dumplings too. Good and affordable lunch.

My favourite noodle joint. They make all their own noodles and dumplings, the texture and flavour is great.

We’ve bee a fan of One Noodle Friendship for many years. The place appears uninviting and the space configuration is strange but what it lacks in aesthetic it more than makes up for in the food stakes! The dumplings (fried and steamed) are sensational (hand made on-site). The fried noodle dishes are next level in terms of the home made noodles and the wok flavours that come through in the dish. Prices are reasonable, service is prompt and helpful. A local favourite on our food map in Preston.

Delicious and quick service. Ate in. The handmade noodles were thick and chewy. Some of the best dumplings I have ever had. Crispy skin, delicious and generous filling. I understand why people rate this place so well.

Found soup bland, helping small, noodles tougher than usual as homemade noodles go; and finally owner overcharged total amount and when questioned quickly said he forgot to update prices on his menu. One time visit for me.

My first time at this place, I had wanted to try it for a while, as I would see the ladies making fresh dumplings in the window.

So…as for dumplings I thought they were pretty good, not mind blowing but tasty for sure.

Now as for the rest of the food we ordered.

The spring rolls looked extremely dark and burnt to me, I asked the waitress, and she said that’s how they should be.now out of all my years eating spring rolls, which should be a nice golden colour, I didn’t even bother trying these myself, my friend did and she said they were bitter burnt!

Pork Fried rice was bland and awful, was lacking any sort of flavour!

Seafood handmade noodles were ok in flavour but sloppy to me.

Dim sims were ok.

Service is questionable.

All in all for dumplings only it’s alright.

But for me there is far better options in the area!

I found it funny, that I went to order Beef noodle soup. The waiter
immediately informed me, the price on the menu was incorrect.
That there had been a increase and was a dollar more. A little more "professinalism" required guys.

Any way, the Beef noodle soup arrived. It was steaming hot.
Beef and noodles were delicous!
I will be back!

Love love love this place. Came here on the recommendation from a friend, and was pleasantly not surprised because I knew it would be amazing. Definitely will come again, maybe try more menu items and bring friends old and new.

One Noodle Friendship delivered an amazing 5-spice Beef Soup, Wonton Soup, Fried Pork Dumplings and atmosphere! I 100% recommend.

Beautiful staff & delicious food! We had two types of dumplings, beef noodle soup & the stir fried veg noodles. The noodles were AMAZING! Hand made and sliced in their little kitchen and cooked perfectly. Dumplings were also delicious. Restaurant isn’t fancy but I always believe that’s where the best food is made! The male owner was so kind and proud. Will definitely be returning. Thankyou!

You'd be forgiven for being apprehensive about this restaurant at first sight. Small tucked away establishment in an arcade off the main St. Could easily just walk by but I urge you to stop and try! Family run so sometimes short staffed and wait times for table service and for the food can vary. Small issues for the food that is delivered though. Hand pulled noodles and for this reason, can be uneven width but this I prefer as you can actually tell they are made in house. Very affordable and decent serving sizes. Fried noodles have that authentic wok char. Would come back time and again.

Amazing food! The soups, especially the 5 spice beef noodle soup, was delicious! So were the fried pork dumplings, fried rice and won ton soup. Awesome hidden gem, highly recommend

BEST DUMPLINGS IN AUSTRALIA. I’ve been to a lot of dumpling restaurants all across Australia and this is hands down the best place. It’s not the fanciest restaurant but the handmade dumplings and noodles are to die for. Fresh, big in size, affordable. 5 stars.

Best homemade dumplings and noodles ever! We arrived almost at closing time and the owner stayed open just for us! Great service, super recommended:)

Walked in and ordered take away late on weeknight, place was quiet, only 3 or 4 dinners, told it would be 10 to 15 minutes. 40 minutes later still waiting, can't accept apologies when I realised they only just started my order after waiting 35 minutes! Place is cramped, overfilled and doesn't appear very hygienic.first and last time.oh my order was finally ready after 50 minutes.over fried burnt dumplings, soup was just ok although noodles weren't that long, strange.
