One. Church reviews
6A welcoming church that feels like family. High-quality teaching and worship. A huge heart for service and outreach. Genuine openness and commitment to go where God leads. And a strong young adult/professional presence, all of which I'm so grateful for.
The female preacher was very good looking. Marriage material if I do say so myself.
Friendly people and great vibe.

Good coffee in cafe with friendly (no religious pushing) service. Indoor and outside seating with all day breakfast menu.
We visited One Community Church on Sunday October 14,2018 for their 10am Contemporary Service. We realise that the church is not the building, however, this relatively new building complex is very well done. If the desire is for it to be a place where the unchurched can come and feel welcomed then in my opinion they have achieved it. The cafe (Aunt Billie's) is perfectly placed on Blackburn Rd. While I haven't been there, it looks open and inviting. If I was a non-church person, I would feel at ease about stopping by for a coffee. I say this, as many cafes run by churches are normally not as visible or appear accessible to the general public (if they are aiming for that). Well done on this cafe which provides a really warm inviting 'front door' for the church. Once inside the main auditorium, we felt at ease. It would have been nice to have an usher help us to find some seats as it was quite packed. Being church people however, meant we didn't mind finding some seats and making ourselves at home. The musical worship was excellent and allowed us to focus on Jesus in worship and not the band itself. Andrew Russell then preached a good message on the current theme of Transformation - A Changing World of Mission. Overall we really appreciated One Community Church's heart for the local community and mission - both local and abroad. Well done and keep up the great work.
We visited One Community Church for a second time on Sunday November 25,2018 for their 10am Contemporary Service. This time we took our adult daughter who is looking for a church home and wanted to take a look. It was a nice coincidence that they were having their 2019 vision service. This allowed us to get a good feel for where this church is heading. I was personally very impressed with the focus on reaching the unchurched through coordinated outreach programs and modifying their 6pm service to cater more for young adults. The interim Senior Minister Cheryl McCullum shared the vision and some of the programs that would assist the church to reach the goals they have set for themselves. We enjoyed the service and the way in which they communicate to a diverse range of people and we had a couple of nice conversations with people we hadn’t met there before. We love this church and really appreciate the extra effort they go to in making people feel welcome and their desire to reach the unchurched as well as helping believers to go deeper in their relationship with Jesus.
