As an employee of Oncall Group Australia I thoroughly enjoy working with my team; the staff members are always approachable and kind and I felt very welcomed, confident and content from my first shift.

My job is rewarding and fulfilling and I feel as though the company appreciates and values my hard work, dedication and commitment to my job.

The work culture/environment is extremely positive and I am very well-supported whenever needed. Management is fantastic and always strives to ensure that each staff member is safe, well prepared and continuously thriving in the workplace. Thanks Oncall, you have been a great industry to work within

Our family has been supported by OnCall since 2017, even before we became involved with NDIS. The support workers are well trained, have been very helpful to our daughter, who continues to make good progress under their care.

ONCALL provide quality staff at short notice that meet the needs of those we support. They’re customer service is fantastic, and any issues are quickly resolved.

I applied for a job with them as a disability support worker casual type of contract, I spoke over the phone with 2 different gentlemen who insisted that I needed to provide full availability despite they stating that there were no guaranteed shifts due to the type of contract (casual).
They had a problem with the fact that I had another casual job 2 days a week. I told them that I thought it was a bit unfair for them to request for me to be fully available, yet not be able to guarantee any shifts, I got told “well, it’s catch 22 I guess”. Unheard of, very high expectations yet not willing to reciprocate commitment with potential employees.

Don’t ever work with this company most unless and unprofessional NDIS company in Australia. They don’t care about staff or the clients. If you call them you get put on hold for a long time and then they give you a worker who doesn’t even know your clients information. The staff don’t even know what is happening most of the time. I have been hung up on in the past when dealing with them. All the staff have no idea what they are doing or about their clients. Some staff members are absolutely disgusting

Horrifyingly bad. Cancelled on my client last minute who had an urgent appointment, had to be taken by ambulance. Apathetic to the damage they caused.

Went through intake was provided the workers name and they will be in touch, two weeks later we are not in the system doesn't exist never happened, lazy NDIS coordinators this particular NDIS coordinator service should be shut down immediately. Read the other reviews and only 3.3 rating very poor, move on to the next search.

ONCALL Personnel and Training is a family owned business, run by the directors and their family, and their CEO, the company pushes their workers to breaking point, have unrealistic expectaions and demands on their staff, especially field staff let alone the office staff who are worked to unrealistic expectations, the company and management are not supportive or nice to work for and really should be shut down, but clearly someone has their finger in a few pies, but people are aware. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY, it has a massive management and field staff turnover (Unless your family or close friend)

From a professional level this agency is disgraceful, often staff won’t answer phone calls. From when you reach reception you then get passed onto the next person then the next until you finally get put onto the right person. When working for Oncall and trying to get things done for the kids you are supporting can take months just to get basic necessities like a computer for the staff or a tv for the kids. The staff turnover is so high that there is no work ethic or team culture working environment. Oncall say they offer training but it’s only basic things like first aid and a one day induction for new staff. Often staff have no previous experience and don’t know what to do on a shift. Which can often make it the blind leading the blind. There is no sick leave or annual leave so don’t get sick if you plan to work there. There is no support from the supervisors if you need assistance

Oncall personnel has the worst culture. They have no care for staff. The office have favourites and give more work to their friends out in the field. They have no respect for the safety of staff. The communication is horrible and their seems to be a lot of blaming instead of taking ownership of their mistakes
Oncall OOHC take no ownership of anything when something goes wrong

My brief experience with this company was that the consultant and his manager were dismissive.unhelpful and defensive when issues raised in the recruitment process.
I have dealt with a number of recruitment agencies in.my career and I would rate this agency as substandard and unprofessional.
Look elsewhere if you are looking for assistance finding work.

The hardest part of my job is not knowing when my job will be and where. Sometimes being sent to the work place that has the old information or being told wrongly about what to be expected. Sometimes other workers had negative attitude with the first introduction but later learn that I am not bad at all. The best part is that after my care my clients are always happy and contented. An my co-workers are happy and would like to work together with me more.
