Omega Boutique - Melbourne reviews
33 I went to the Collin’s St store on New Years Day with an old Omega Geneva Vintage watch dating back to 1974 which belonged to my father-in-law which was recently gifted to myself. I was graciously greeted by Lily before being introduced to Maurizio. Both myself and wife found Lily and Maurizio great to deal with. In particular, we found Maurizio to be a perfect gentleman who displayed great knowledge and sensitivity knowing the sentimental nature of this watch. He looked at the watch advising it is still in good working order, but would benefit from a service at some point in the future. I was greatful that Maurizio was honest in his assessment of the watch and grateful for the exceptional job he completed in changing the band and buckle of the watch as well cleaning the face of the watch. We will definitely come again to the store and get a service in due course.
Kind Regards Robert and Franca
Snobby front door staff member. There’s no waiting area inside and was asked to wait outside as the store was at max capacity (fair enough). Strange that there is no waiting area inside, maybe it would be wise to consider this (common sense really). A client left and there was no invitation to enter the boutique subsequently. The experience lacked basic customer service and etiquette. Left disappointed naturally.
I had the great pleasure of a boutique tour with Sid, who took the time to showcase a wide range of Omega pieces to me. He even gave me the time to look through a chronicle of Omega history which was fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable. Even if you aren't going to be picking up a new piece, I'd recommend stopping by!
Thanks to Simon who helped us make a great purchase for my brother yesterday. He was very knowledgeable and professional, great customer service. He was very patient with us, my brother was able to buy his favorite watch. Simon I recommend to everyone that if you go to Omega you definitely want to see Simon, then you can have a wonderful purchase
Charlene was very professional and went above and beyond to provide a great solution. Thank you!
Had a fantastic experience here on a Saturday. Very friendly staff, who let us try on a half dozen watches. Quite knowledgeable too, especially with some of the differences between certain models (ie the sapphire and hesalite versions of the Speedmaster).
I cannot thank Sid enough for sincerely walking me through the full Omega buying experience. I walked in wanting the full experience for my first piece and Sid went above and beyond to allow me to touch and feel the full range of watches from the Speedmaster to the World Timer and the De Ville as well. I was able to touch and feel and try on some watches to understand how they fit and just stare at the beautiful mechanical movements too. He taught me how the watches work, the brief history and milestones of Omega and even the little details of changes the Speedmaster has undergone over the years. He gave me a full tour of the boutique and kindly helped me understand how he can make this purchase happen for me in my desired timeframe and on my terms. I was truly in awe when he brought out a watch I never thought I’d be able to see. Sid made my first buying experience truly one to remember and one that I will talk about for years to come. If you want to touch and feel an Omega watch on your wrist and you’re not sure how to feel about walking into the store, just pop in and ask for Sid, you’re in good hands from there.
Thank you Sid and the Omega store for being so understanding and sincere, see you all again in good time!
Amazing customer service by Joe and Sid, absolute legends. They were incredibly nice and friendly, we talked watches and they showed us some beautiful and unique timepieces. Highly recommend coming to this boutique if you're looking for your next Omega, but stop by regardless to experience firsthand their kindness!
Absolute best experience today. Sid was very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Looking forward to coming back here when the store reopens!
Visited the store and served by Joe Htoo. What can I say? It was one of my best watch store experience in Melbourne.
Joe has very deep knowledge of the brand and across the models. Along with his exceptional customer service, I have had a great time at the store. I walked out of the store with great knowledge of Omega brand and two beautiful pieces on my hand.
Thank you Joe!
WOW what can I say!
Had the pleasure of visiting the Omega Boutique on Collins street this week and what a breath of fresh air it was!
Purchased a Speedmaster from Sid, the professionalism and product knowledge from Sid and the whole team was nothing short of amazing from start to finish.
We were greeted politely by the staff and were offered a cold beverage within minutes of being there. I showed interest in a few different models and Sid took us upstairs to the upper level where it was very relaxing and we could sit down and take our time trying on the watches to decide on which one we wanted!
Will definitely be referring family and friends to this boutique as I quite enjoyed the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere of the boutique and staff working there.
5 Stars!
I have booked an appointment to service my omega on 02/01/2023 and I came about 20 minutes early. I rang the front bell and saw 2 sales staff servicing 2 couples inside, they saw me as well.omega had the sign at the front door saying capacity is full therefore I have to book for appointment, which I did. There was 2 empty couches inside and the staff couldn’t be bothered inviting me in to sit inside and wait as outside temperature is 32C plus.
The staff open the door right at the time my I booked my appointment and invite me to sit on the couch and they said” please sit inside as it’s hot outside”. This is after 20 minutes waiting outside in the hot weather.
This is very bad customer service, not the expected service I would imagine from any watches store let alone omega
.
You need to retrain your staff omega as today experience is ridiculous.
Best customer service and enthusiasm about a brand I have had in a long time. Thank you Coleman! Regards from Adelaide:)
Being able to purchase an Omega timepiece is an honour. Although my initial experience wasn’t so great due to a one off mechanical fault inside the timepiece. I was able to follow up the service process with Joe. He was very knowledgeable, engaging & approachable throughout the process. Not only did he offer a free nato strap for the inconvenience caused, he offered to replace the faulty Seamaster for a new one.
Part of the enjoyment of owning a watch is the experience of purchasing it. Joe definitely provided that.
Best Wishes & hope to see you guys soon.
Thomas Sullivan deserves a raise, if ur reaeding this, gave him a couple watches to analyse, he may have netted us upwards of 20k from his analysis.i think as a manager of the store his professionality can be unrivalled, just a man of class,
A great place with some amazing watches, thanks to Sandy for showing me some new models and helping me order a strap for my Speedmaster, very knowledgeable and made the experience great.
Issues: Terrible post-purchase customer service, and unresolved watch issues.
Employee: Sandy Wong, Sales Associate.
The worst Omega store I have ever visited, and an embarrassment to the brand. I had came in-store to discuss a few issues I've noticed with my time piece, and the sheer ineptitude of Sandy was brand damaging. Not only was she rude, and had clear communication issues, but she also did not understand watches.
Despite her argumentative attempt at convincing me my watch was 'fine, ' I insisted to have my watch sent off to a service. It 'arrived' back the a couple days later, and much earlier than the few weeks estimated. My assumption is that it was never serviced, or (more likely) -because of the Sandy's communication issues-the issue wasn't understood or looked in to (As it was a winding issue, the watch has to have no power for the issues to surface.)
I shouldn't have to convince a sales rep that a watch under warranty needs a service, and why would I waste an hour out of my day, forfeiting my watch, for a problem that didn't exist?
It takes a truly terrible experience to compel me to leave a negative review, but I cannot recommend this store to anyone.
I don’t usually write reviews, but the experience I had today was genuinely a very positive one that is above and beyond my expectations which I really want to share. Coleman was the sales representative who served me today, he was pleasant to deal with, and went the extra mile to make the customer feel special with his support and services. If you are interested in an Omega timepiece in Melbourne, would definitely recommend asking for Coleman at the Melbourne boutique store.
Kevin was very helpful and kind. He helped me with finding extra links for my precious watch from family.
I truely appreciate his help today.
Can’t recommend Coleman enough. He was very knowledgeable and made my first Omega purchase a great one!
