Omaru Alpaca Farm reviews
19Absolutely loved this little farm! The animals are well looked after and friendly, the family that run it are very hospitable, and I took a particular love for the chickens
Lovely drive up to the alpaca farm. Decent entry price which includes animal feed. Best to come on opening when they are hungry. You can sit and enjoy the scenery with tables n chairs on the deck or around back on the grass. Lovely staff and just a nice wind down outing for half the day.
An awesome place to visit with the family. Feed the animals, take in the stunning views, sit at a table on the porch and enjoy a picnic.
I love this place, love Alpaca they are so friendly and the Owner also friendly.my daughter love it and enjoy at there
Thanks for your warm hospitality, Sian and Rob! Our family had fun feeding Alpacas for the first time. Praying for a miraculous breakthrough for grandma Anne’s healing.
Appreciate Hemily for showing us how to feed and answer all our questions. All the best for your vet study!
Thank you for a wonderful visit, it was so special to spend time with the Alpacas. We really appreciated the warm welcome and learning lots more about these wonderful animals. They are so happy because you look after them so well. Thank you
Mr Rob and wife are very kind and friendly. They helped giving us free ride to the nearest train station.
Sian and Rob are super friendly toward customers, always chatting away about the animals and it's clear that they love their job! I got to meet their lovely grandkids who were also very knowledgeable about the alpacas, particularly little Holly! Both Sian and Rob go above and beyond for their customers and I couldn't recommend this place more highly. Beautiful rolling hills, gorgeous alpacas everywhere and lovely company!
Amazing experience, the host Rob and his Alpacas are super friendly. The facilities are very thoughtful and they even have insert repellent ready for the visitors. Have planned to stay for an hour but we ended up staying for almost half a day! Perfect place for family with young kids.
It was a good day at Omaru farm, the alpacas were so friendly and it is a good family plan for the kids
A really great location and a wonderful experience.
Sian, the owner, is an exceptional host and very generous with her time and knowledge.
We found ourselves at Omaru Alpaca farm for a hands on experience interacting with gorgeous Alpacas on an open day. This was part of our search for more information about Alpacas and whether they were a fit for us with our hobby acreage. Well, Sian was amazing in all areas of education, advise and ensuring we had a complete understanding of what was involved keeping happy & healthy Alpacas. We are now the very proud owners of 3 of the most gorgeous boys. Words are not enough to express my thanks and gratitude. If there were a 10 star review Omaru Alpaca Farm would get 20! Definitely worth a visit the open days are an awesome experience with great facilities!
Amazing place for young and old. Had a fantastic mothers day picnic with the family. Highly recomended.
A wonderful place to see some cute gorgeous FLUFFY alpacas! The owner is so lovely she let me visit and take unlimited photos of the beautiful animals during golden hour sunset time. I had a blast! If you love alpacas/animals and are in melbourne, this place is a must visit!
Fantastic farm and loved seeing these cute alpacas. A must location to take the children during regular "Open Days".
We visited the farm in March and had a fantastic time. Sian was great to chat to and very accommodating for our private event. The alpacas and property were great too. Would definitely recommend a visit!
Spent a lovely afternoon with my husband's family at the Alpaca farm. Only an hour or so away drive from Melbourne city, the open farm day only happens once a month (usually 3rd Sunday of the month) but it's best to check the website for details. Owner was really attentive to my 90 year old grandmother, bringing out a chair for her in the shade and offering her a drink. The alpacas were very well taken care of and friendly. You can go up close to the alpacas to feed them, the feed is also included in the price of the farm entry. Plenty of parking available, expect to spend an hour or so there.
Great place. Highly recommended. Lovely Alpacas. Wonderful caring owners. It's lovely how you get to feed and walk around the Alpacas.
