And the Tast of the food is also not good
My money was jst spoil
Very affordable Indian food in melbourne. Meal is only 9.5 dollars. Taste wise it is nice. They provide bread type Naan which is little bit thick. Overall It's very good restaurant.
I highly recommend Om restaurant.the food is absolutely delicious and affordable. I've tried several dishes on the menu and have been impressed with every single one tried. Considering the reasonable prices, generous portions, and consistent quality, this place is a hidden gem.
Food didn't taste good at all, tables were skay all the time, can improve a lot, cuurys were bad, only samosa was good
Got the 14.50 combo w lassi & samosa.would not recommend - curry was watery, rice tasted damp and weird, bread was chewy (in bad way), lassi seemed off.not great.i think they water down their curries, maybe at the end of the day b4 they cook their next batch? Some of the other reviews seemed really happy so maybe i just came at a weird time
This is unlimited thali for just $8.50
You also get 1 Mango Lasssi and 1 pc samosa for $12.50 in the thali combo.
We ordered the Thali combo. The food was amazing and its eat as much you want. They serve you unlimited food. There are some items like samosa and the mango lassi which are limited though. But for the price you are paying it is completely worth it.
The food is Authentic indian. Servie wise is also good. Feels like one of the canteens in India.

Food 8/10
Service 9/10
Ambience 6/10
Price 10/10
This is more like on the go type eating place. Fast paced and not like a fine dine restaurant. If you are not too keen on the ambience. The other factors like food and price are a definitely to go for!
Very nice restaurant. I had a special order of Palak paneer without onion and garlic on a Tuesday. The lady chef made it so tasty can’t thank much. Also the Indian ginger strong tea she made amazed me and my friend. So impressed.
The prices were very affordable; a good place for students who need a cheap and filling meal.
Had the thali meal and the samosa chaat. The curries in the thali meal tasted much the same, just with different vegetables and were not as spicy as I expected. It was decent but I wouldn’t eat it again. The samosa chaat was delicious and it is great as a small meal if you aren’t hungry.
Overall the food was alright for the price but I wouldn’t think of going there again unless I was craving a samosa chaat.
Great place for a quick vegan meal if you are in the city. You have an option of the all you can eat lunch set or a la carte meal.
Excellent value.
The spices and flavour in the food surpassed my expectations and hit the spot. The Naan bread appeared hand made, soft and perfect.
The price quality of this place is incomparable to other indian restaurants. Really great (home cooked style) food at a very affordable price. I'd go back here many times
Such a treat to have a lunch here! In the fast paced CBD life, a restaurant of such quality and quantity is always encouraged. Thanks for the wonderful food within the affordable cost
Food so cheep according to quality staff sevice best thanks to owner for helping visitor and students by such a cheap meal
This place rocks. I stumbled upon it by accident and I'm glad I stopped.
The food is beautiful and it's so affordable it's any wonder if these people even profit whatsoever.
One of the nicest vegetarian meals I've ever had
I appreciate the owners response to this and taken the opportunity to return, the food is now back to its pre covid high standards and absolutely delicicious. Thankyou for taking time to respond and also return the high quality taste we were used to, five stars again thank you.
I used to eat here at least once a week, but now my favourite precovid food is revolting. At around the same time the plasyic trays and cutlery arrived so did thesenewrevolting flavours.new chef? Old spices? New recipe? No idea but its very sad and now inedible imo
I had bad experience with this restaurant because table wasn't clean and we bought thali and somasa chat that was very cold.we went this restaurant yesterday. Thanks
Four stars is because I'm Vegetarian outstanding value. $7.50 for the thali meal and it's both filling and tasty. Don't expect fancy decor. You can't get a cheaper meal in Melbourne and you probably couldn't make it yourself for less.
This restaurant provide best quality food to their customer.it is very cheap as compare other Indian restaurant. All staff very polite and friendly
Easily one of the tastiest, most reliable and most well priced restaurants in Melbourne. As a local I have visited this location at least 30 times and I am never disappointed. Nutritious vegetarian curries, fluffy rice and warm naan for $7.50, it’s just the best. Also to note, I’m a rabid meat eater but these curries are filling and perfectly hit the spot every time.
I had today maki Roti with Saag, so yummy and delicious. Taste of Punjab.awesome service. Order was ready in few minutes. You must go there.
