Ollies Chicken Hillside

By far the best chicken salted chips and gravy I’ve ever tried! Everything was fresh from the chicken wrap, chicken roll and fried chicken. We ordered the potato boulders which we thought would be similar to kfc’s potato’s mashies but were in fact twice cooked whole potatoes but they were also delish! Serving sizes were generous as well!

Worst customer service ever I'll never go here again the girl behind the counter was so rude no help at all if I could give a 0 for customer service I would.

Trying Ollie first time. Got served chicken wrap cold and chips were too salty. Try to advise customer about the dishes when they ask to recommend. Cheers!

Love the chicken and great value for money. Wished they had one closer to me but the occasional visit will do!

You certainly get no love in the customer service area here. I made a large order only to be told several minutes later that part of the items were no longer available. How can the manager, the one serving us, not know this prior to payment being made. The only options to make up for the quantity we wanted was going to cost up much more for the same amount of chicken! If you want cold customer service for average tasting chicken, you're on the mark. Last time for me.

The quality of this place went downhill real quick.like adding some salt and pepper to your chicken wouldnt hurt.

Chips were fresh. Chicken was very dry this time and crumb not done properly.

Normally it is moist and juicy.

If you want a microwaved burger this is the place, absolutely pathetic, I’d be embarrassed to give this to a homeless person

Ordered food, then my son with special needs was busting to go to the toilet, asked the lady if he could use the rest room, she said no I’m like do yous have a toilet she like no sorry go to petrol station we did there wasn't one there. My partner a while back used the rest room in ollies. We were 45 minutes from home.honestly very disappointed being lied to like that.

Chicken Pops = good.

Ollie's chicken 100% far better than KFC. Chicken breast pops are tender and juicy, unlike KFC which is greasy. Their chips are one of the best!
Very generous serving and friendly service.

Many occasions at around 11 to 1230 they never have any BBQ chickens ready. Pretty ridiculous for a chicken shop in my opinion.

Don’t understand how this place can be rated four stars, easily one of the worse burgers I’ve ever had, save your money go to kfc

Had my first Ollie's in melton back in 93 I think. Then moved away and travelled. Did not have it again until 2019 and oh my god the memories. I may be biased but the burgers at Ollie's are still the same. Unlike KFC which are now a shadow of what they used to be burger wise. Ollie's has big crispy fillets in their burgers and always the same. Dont ever change please Ollie's. Not all Hero's wear capes.

I have been eating Ollies Chicken since I was a kid in Melton. Rapt to have Hillside location close to home. Delicious fried chicken, much better than KFC and as good as Popeyes Chicken (USA). Love it!
