Picked the right time to visit spoke with Ross and learnt about his approach to winemaking. Ross is a true vigneron and the wine range was brilliant. Well worth a visit

I was lucky enough to photograph Sally and Narelle’s wedding here last March and let me tell you, what a venue! Olive Hills Estate is stunning with its iconic fig tree and high tower, its charmingly rustic barn and its beautiful outdoor canapé/reception area, especially at sunset.
Olive hills hosts picturesque views in every direction and provides an abundance of gorgeous locations to take photographs and capture some great memories. The staff are brilliant and the hosts take it to the next level as well, and the wine definitely doesn’t miss either.
This was my second time there and I can’t wait to hopefully be back for my third one day soon.
What a place to get married and throw one big celebration!

Not the most friendliness or helpful place to ask questions. Made me feel like I didn't know what I liked, wanted or needed. Was served by "the owner" as she claimed, from my experience I won't be back.

We discovered this exceptional winery on a recent road trip and we knew we were in for a treat when Ross emerged from the back of the cellar with both arms stained with grape juice! A man with passion!
Our wine tastings there were amazing, along with stories of their making.
We are now having Olive Hill wines sent to us regularly through their wine club. BLISS!

Called on a cold Tuesday and were warmly greeted by Kay and the very friendly dogs. I was the designated driver but my wife, son and daughter in law really enjoyed the tasting and the commentary. Bought some wine and will return. Their multi red blend and durif are truly unique and delicious. Thank you for your hospitality.

Last stop of a 2000 km road trip around Victoria and I was in a hurry - I hit up Ross for a recommendation and after tasting a 2018 & 2019 du Cluse I walked out with beautiful bottle of 2018.

8 of us were enjoying the Tastes of Rutherglen wine festival 2023 when we heard a positive comment about Olive Hills Estate. We bus hopped there and Wow! What a beautiful, laid back setting, delicious wine and a pizza base that must be a family secret! The staff (aka family) were friendly, passionate and attentive. They have two adorable doggies too. We actually made it back there later in the day after a few other wineries because it was the best. I'll be going back there:)

Stopped by this winery on our way through to the Barossa Valley and i am so glad i did. Out of all the wineries i have ever been too, the experience we had was truly first class. Ross (and Ruth the kelpie) shared his passion and knowledge about his vineyard with us and i am still thinking about all the wonderful wines we tried. I couldn’t recommend this place enough - cannot wait to return if we are ever back that way - thank you Ross!

A group of 5 of us had a wonderful experience at Olive Hills Estate. Rossco and Kay did everything to make us welcome and catered for. We preordered the share plate (Yum!) which Kay called on the morning of to verify, Ross was amazing at the cellar door giving passionate advice and warm conversation to us all. The surrounding grounds and homestead are amazing, and I'll post some photos. No doubt there's bigger and more grandiose wineries in Rutherglen, but don't lightly dismiss this spot. Definitely worth a visit.
