Old World Restoration & Picket Fences

Very pleased with the process and outcome of Old World Restoration and Picket Fences with the building and installation of a 1920s style crimped woven wire fence. Everyone turned up when they said they would, did the job efficiently and took away all rubbish leaving the site tidy. They tried hard to minimise issues for pedestrians on the adjoining footpaths, and were flexible about timing for us to paint the frame before the wire was installed.

Manufacturered custom posts and provided caps and pickets to match existing. Excellent service.

The team from quote, head office communications and installation was friendly, efficient and professional. Andy, who installed our fence did a really great job and high first time quality. Value for money and I can only highly recommend them.

We could not happier with the fencing work performed at our house. It is so great to not be looking at a saggy old boundary fence anymore!

The work was in a tricky spot but these guys handled it all really well (and kept the neighbours happy too)

Rude staff. Totally ignored when came into the reception. Staff could see me standing there, did not acknowledge me at all, so rude and humiliating. Will never consider business here again.

Avoid! Had a few problems and basically they didn't want to know about it. Gave up chasing them up, from receptionist to other staff member all useless. And I am in their area (near Altona).

OK job but communication and punctuality was poor. Had to chase and call their office on more than one occasion to find out where installer was or even just to organise installation. Just OK.

My experience with this company started out very well. The actual picket fence was completed on time and a good job. However the driveway sliding gate does not fit very well and when I questioned it, they eventually replied that it would be to hard to fix and that was it. No effort to try and fix the problem. So for the money I paid, the end result was quite disappointing. They couldn't even put the company badge on the fence straight. All in all "disappointed".

Ecstatic with our new fence! Great team that were very pleasant to deal with and delivered a top quality fence- their skills were that of perfectionists.

Had two fences built by this company, a front picket fence and later a higher picket fence and gate on the sideway and since we have moved house about to get another built. The first fence was built 8 years ago and still looks great so has stood the test of time. If your in the market for a good quality fence to match your heritage home this company is great to deal with giving good helpful advice and building great quality fences
