Old Tawonga Store

A great place to stop for a coffee and snack. Genuinely friendly owners and staff. Don't go past, try
it out. Highly recommended.

Such a quaint store full of history meeting the owner nothing is too much trouble. Would visit again.

There is so much I could say about the Old Tawonga Store but as is often the case the Tawonga Store is not just a shop. It is a post office and also a place to buy basic groceries. It sells beautiful sit in or take away food and drinks. It is a tiny museum with historical photos and other historic items adorning the walls of the shop. It is a place you can sit and relax in after a long drive. There are lots of " it is" about the Old Tawonga Store but the most important "it" is the big welcome you get from the owners of the store Trish and Matt, they both make you feel so welcome and they go out of their way to serve you some of the most yummiest food in the area. If you are passing through Tawonga, drop into the Old Tawonga Store and experience some real high country hospitality.

Great local store for all your needs. Also does cakes and coffees. House made sausage rolls. Had a delicious ham and cheese toasty. Hit the spot and we'll toasted (unlike some places where often you'd barely, know the bread was tossted). Opposite little park you can go and sit at and stretch feet.

Friendly staff good food love the homemade sausage rolls and heard that apparently the roast beef rolls are great also, just keep missing out.relaxed old shop worth a look

Today was perfect for an ice-coffee from Trish @ OTS. A great place to chill out and to get some essentials be it milk or cake or etc

A lovely country general store which provides well for its local community. It has great potential to improve it's food and coffee to compete with the many choices in Tawonga South and Mount Beauty.
Well worth the visit if you don't want to travel far. Try the homemade sausage rolls, they're delicious!

They have a great variety of homemade baking. Great coffee, aned the service is wonderful always happy to see you. They also offer a full postal service as well magazines and newspapers. They have a limited line of groceries but can always get the staples like milk and bread and other items to keep you going.

If your driving through there and need a warm spot to stop and rest with a drink and something to eat. Then it's th shop to drop in to.

Just the place for relaxing chat, and a pot of tea. And being welcomed by Trish and Matt far better than the rest.

Trish and Matt offer wonderful service and a pleasant experience when you are in their store food variety is good and coffee is excellent
