Old Man Pho

We placed an order on uber eats with the order cancelled within 15-20mins. We called the restaurant and exchanged a couple of messages (sms), inquiring what the issue was and if they would like to resolve the issues direct of via uber eats, as our payment was still taken. To then receive a simple comment to deal with with it with Uber.

This is fine, but it's clear where their priorities are, with no effort to even look into the cancellation they initiated, after taking payment.

Very average Pho. Lots of floating globules of fat, meat trimmed with fat. Soup base weak. Small amount of Basil and bean shoots.

My boyfriend’s parents really into Vietnamese food. So one time I bought 4 serving of Pho. Brought home and acted like I’m just cooked that. They really like it and complimented a lot. Proud of myself.

This is the 2nd time I have ordered on Uber Eats in the last month 1st time my order was cancelled after 45 mins 2 nd time I ordered vermicelli beef and received pork with a sorry note

My beef pho ended up having not one, but two or more pieces of plastic in it, and to top it off, there was a dead bug inside it.
The cost was good for a filling meal and the soup tasted great, but I really hated getting the inside of my mouth scratched by plastic and finding the miserable dead fly floating in my soup.
At least I was refunded and offered another free serving of the pho I ordered.

I normally eat here and ok, but tonight ordered vermicelli noodles and couple hours later feeling very sick.

They took my order through uber eats but when the driver arrived to collect it they said they were closing and sent him away rudely. And I was advised of that only 40min later

Love to see the staff everyday, really good team that make some really consistent Vietnamese takeaway. Good value and great selection.

Loved this place. The food was yummy. We tried egg noodles with chicken and egg noodles with pork. The pork was nice but the egg noodle with chicken was really good. They served the broth separately, which i did tase by itself and was full of flavour. Even though it's a small place and part of district docklands mall it has a nice cool vive.

I had the beef pho. The soup was okay but the noodles felt like they were something like Woolworths bought noodles. My friend got served pho with a small fly in it… not really happy

It was 9.60 for two rice paper rolls even though the menu said it was 8.50.my fault for not really paying attention or pushing it further but the rice paper rolls weren't worth that price.

Ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and grilled chicken, loved the flavours. Quick service and very nice place.

Banh mi was not authentic. Not enough pate. The mayo tasted like normal mayo and not Vietnamese mayo. And it had lettuce in it? !
Service was good and quick
But not the place to go if you are a banh mi connoisseur

So glad I ordered the tofu Banh Mi! It was tasty and the tofu tasted fresh too. The roll was also toasted and was served warm and crisp! Definitely will come back again.

Lady at the counter was friendly too. A great dining experience:)

This store offers another Western take on popular Vietnamese dishes. Their fastfood-style pho, broken rice and vietnamese spring rolls were not great, but good enough. Service was quick and the place was clean.

I really like that the staff actually requested to see our vaccination status when we were ordering. She did the same on other customers. Ample outdoor and indoor seats also enabled social distancing.

Pork roll is yum. Too bad there isn't any basil, lemon and bean sprouts come with my bbaby pho. Combo is good deal.

Great service, great food with great deals. For ~18 AUD I got pho, banh mi and a drink. The pho was perfect during the cold weather. Broth was light and flavorful (it’s on the sweeter side which I like). Banh mi was crispy and great. Will come back.
I wish they gave us nuoc cham instead of peanut sauce for the rice paper rolls, though.

Never Again, been many times and slowly got worse and worse until the last order un edible. What makes a good place go bad i wonder?

Order for take away it’s still super yummy. I had my pork chop here and it’s perfect. The lady serving also very nice
