Old Green Bean

Food looked good, looking forward to trying more that they offer. Service was excellent, very attentive staff and friendly. Atmosphere was very new age, very Melbourne. I'd go back for the coffee and food but don't expect anything over the top, in my opinion it's nothing special just a good place to grab a feed and a coffee.

Staff helpful. Coffee and food great. They were getting ready to close when we arrived but looked after us and a group that came in after us.

This restaurant has the most restricted menu I have EVER seen.

There were only two items on the menu that held any appeal for us @ all and one of them they had run out of by 1.30 so I had to have a breakfast menu item.

Why did we eat here?

Because we were having emergency repairs @ the tyre shop across the Rd & it was 36 degrees outside or we would have just walked somewhere else.

2 coffee's, 2 pretty ordianary lunches one of which was actually a breakfast $45 ish dollars.

Before anyone suggests it, we will NEVER eat here again.

Quaint cafe with a fantastic selection of vegetarian, gluten and dairy free options. Very friendly staff and great prices. Their coffee bean selection is very good too, with numerous roasts and decaffeinated beans available.

Breakfast bowl and berry smoothie were delicious. It’s a bit loud and busy but if you don’t mind that the food is great! (Service is still quick)

Amazing customer service
There was a confusion with my order and I had a longer wait time (didn’t mind this at all) and the staff refunded my order and gave me the coffees for free. This was not needed at all! Tried to give them the money back and they refused! Amazing service during a difficult time. Plus the coffees always taste amazing ️

The food is excellent and the staff were professional and courteous. Prices were reasonable. Parking was ok. If you like healthy food I can recommend. You won't find soft drinks or fast food here.

Hadn't been here for 2 years, and made the drive from Melbourne with OGB in mind. So glad to see it hasn't changed. Just perfection.

I made a group booking here for my birthday. Nice food and had a lovely time until the staff took away my kids food while they were eating and made us feel unwelcome after one hour. We were not told at the time of booking that tables are only booked for an hour. This was despite other tables being available at the time. When I went back to express my disappointment there was no apology given. I also noticed other people who were still allowed to be there 1 & 1/2 hours later. Will not be going back.

Pre-ordered food online to be ready at a certain time, still waited 10 minutes for the order!
Food & coffee was ok, sweet potato toastie was the highlight.

Amazing service and great food! Serving sizes are large. Great amount of variety on the menu as well as a well stocked desert fridge. I was really happy with a delicious meal, good coffee and dessert. I will definitely be back for another visit!

Very happy with my breakfast and coffee! I got poached eggs, avocado, garlic mushrooms, marinated feta on toast with tomato relish. Yum. Extra bonus the friendliness of staff. Thumbs up

Excellent Cafe! 10/10. The coffee was so good and the food as well. I usually go for two coffees, but I ended up having three. If you’re in Bendigo and after brunch, this venue is a perfect choice.
It would be a good idea to write the calories on the menu.

Both the service and food are below average.
I have been twice in the past month. Food was served on cold plates and would be considered warm at best. On my second visit toast was burnt. Food lacks flavour overall. The person serving me also forgot my drink, which I re-orderd when I went to pay.
On the positive side the cold drip coffee was great.

LOVE this place. The best cafe in Bendigo. They get everything right. The food, the atmosphere, service, coffee & fair pricing.its all good. I'd give it more than 5/5 stars if I could. Well done Old Green Bean.
